if the teddy bear is the training partner. drop him  or at least blur out his face so we don't know who he is :)

seriously though good work. keep it up. Get your diet sorted and define your goals. E.g 89kg lean mass, or bench press 140kg. what ever your goal is write it down develope a plan with a PT and strive to reach it.

you dont need a PT, waste of $.

you can get all the help you need on here. i would also suggest making clear goals. eg gain muscle, lose fat. (1 or the other)

btw you dont need to train every day, i train 4 days a week. the key to growth is REST

I don't know about that. I reckon for someone starting out a PT (or someone else experienced) is ideal to show form, technique, calculate a starting diet etc.

but you are right later on after technique and form is down packed rely on forums and other media to tweek diet and routine.

the one thing you don't want to do is start with lots of enthusiasm and not start right. you won't get the growth you're after and become disgruntled (like what happend to me) . eat, rest , lift = grow

working out diet/routine is the easy part

the hard part is having the mental strength to push through pain in training, or eat that meal when you alrdy feel full

no pt can make you do these things, it comes from within

^^ What he said ^^

Write your goals somewhere visible.. like on a bit of paper on your room wall or something. Motivational images help too: Franco Columbo Deadlifting 280kgs with ease, a rear double bicep shot of arnie, most muscular pose by Ronnie.. If I ever feel down, one look at thopse pics tell me those physiques didnt come from giving up.

Nice one, Delpreet. I'd recommend having a chat to a trainer or an experienced gym member if you're not sure how to do an exercise - just ask them to check your form and make sure you're doing it right. You don't necessarily need to buy a full PT session (although that's always an option too). And keep asking, because everyone will show you something slightly different, and you can pick the bits that work for you. Of course, you may be confident in your form by now anyway.

When it comes to theory, like diet and routine, we can help. Just ask. :)

Calculate protein intake... write it down on a piece of paper to keep track.

Keep looking at labels on pre-packaged foods like yoghurt, cottage cheese, protein shakes etc. The rest is available on the internet. for example: eggs: whole:6g of protein, only the white part: 3g of protein.

Look in the diet and nutrition section of this forum.. there are links to protein "counters", just enter what you eat and it works out protein carb fat content etc.

Good luck.
