I am 78 kgs, and my daily loading is 5days, 23.4 grams total a day so 5.85 grams 4 x a day during loading period

Then my maintaining is 2.34 grams a day for up to 1 month.

Then washout is no creatine for 1 month.

Then start at loading again etc.

Have i got this right? and is nessecery for 1 month without any creatine?

Any thoughts?

a washout isnt necessary but its probably a good idea to give your body a break once and a while.. how long u been on creatine?

First time use, i was thinking about having a break every 2 months

But was unsure if i would still need to load or if it would maintain for that long.

Those amounts are pretty specific bro, I assume you have calculated those by reference to your bodyweight or LBM?

What have you used to determine that?

A "washout" phase isn't always necessary if continuing to take creatine tho may want to get creatinine levels checked now and again. Theres a few threads around I think with abit more information on it.

I used a website all about creatine, said to x 0.3 by ur body weight in kilo's for ur daily amount loading and to x 0.03 by ur body weight for maintaince

i was just going to measure once and see what it looks like on a teaspoon lol.

http://www.creatinemonohydrate.net/

And

http://www.creapure.com/index.php?id=13

"Intake recommendations

A daily dose of 3 grams is recommended.

With normal activity, 2 to 4 g of creatine are used per day. Depending how physically and mentally active an individual is, this requirement can increase to 5 g per day. The body produces half of the creatine needed daily, and the rest needs to be ingested through food. Depending on the individual's lifestyle and diet, a recommendation of 3 g per day could make sense.

Creatine should always be taken with caffeine-free beverages, such as water, fruit juice or warm tea (which improves solubility). Make sure you take the creatine with enough fluids (rule of thumb: 1 g creatine/100 mL fluids).

The creatine drink should always be prepared fresh and consumed on the same day since creatine does not stay stable for long in liquids."

I use KRE-ALKALYN® Creatine. I just started taking it again today after a 2 week break. No loading required, man I had an instant pump today at the gym, it was amazing, my veins were jumping out!

It's all about trying different creatine until you find one that works for your body. I have tried monohydrate which is really good but I had too many side effects, stomach bloat was bad. I then tried Ethyl ester, sort of worked but not really. Then someone on this forum suggested kre-alk.

Shit, it works wonders on my body, no loading, no bloating.
