not sure if i training right

hey all,

im not too sure if im resting enuf or not.

Monday i do i heavy upper body work out

Tuesday do a body pump +30 mins cardio

Wednesday i do a legs work out

Thursday i do body pump +30 mins cardio

friday all over body work out

saturday i do body impact (boxing)

sunday off

i feel like not not lasting like what i was when i first started but i can feel and see a good change in my body and strength

yeah im aiming to drop about 5-10kg before november

also at the same time im trying to build muscle and fitness and look and feel good over summer.

im feeling like i have changed heaps already as i given up smoking hardout and yeah chopped the food in half lol so yeah just dont wana stop now

You need to concentrate on one thing or the other if you want to get the most out of either, but based on your goal for the time being I would say you on the right track. You won't put on much size but the body will respond and the weight will shift to the right places giving you a good starting point for something a little more structured.

Yeah I say if you're starting to see the desired results stick to what you're doing. All that cardio will make it hard to put "slabs" of muscle on but thats not really your goal is it?. It won't stop your body from toning and hardening up, you can always mix it up later once you plateau or reach your weight loss goal :nod:

And on the potential overtraining thought, just listen to your body itll tell you when your doing too much...

yeah i been cold turkey off the ciggys for 6weeks nows and am still tasting the crap i filled my lungs with for all those years.

yeah i can feel a big difference in my body and feel real good but get real sore pretty quick now.

yeah i want to build muscle but not burn myself out to fast on it
