Putting some pics up, 4 months from Auckland Champs

hey everyone, I thought I'd try get some feedback so I can make the most of the next 4 months. One thing thats really dawned on me lately is I don't have enough mass, but thats probably something I'll have to focus on after competition. I'd say this is so because I never used to eat enough.

You know the story, when you've spent your whole life overweight, and then you get in shape, you sort of develop a mentality that eating lots will make you fat again. Thats what I've had to try and get out of my head, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Anyway, I've been training for almost 7 months. Thanks very much for any feedback or advice

I did a 6-7week diet for nats and was alot fatter then you are

Yeah I actually like that idea. I've totally doubled my training routine, I wrote it in the workout diary section, so I'm gonna need to eat to match that. A 6 week surge sounds good, I think I'll go with it.

I could be wrong but it looks like your timing is a bit off bro. If youve still got 4 months to go you should be still bulking, or just starting your cut. Your gonna find it hard to put on any mass in the time you have left.

Anyways looking sharp in the pics, will look out for you at the Auck Champs! Good luck

DIET:

5am Preworkout- Shake (45g Protein)

TRAIN

Postworkout - Shake (45g Protein) [1st creatine dose]

Breakfast - 4 egg white omelette w/ 100g chicken and 50g low fat cheese

Midmorning - Protein Bar

Snack - 2 Bananas

Lunch - 3 whole boiled eggs

Snack - 2 Bananas

Preworkout - Shake (45g Protein), 1 mandarin

TRAIN

Postworkout - Shake (45g Protein)

Dinner - Steak or Chicken, 300 grams, w/ Kumara/brown rice [2nd Creatine]

Yeah, I realise that now. Had a chat at moe moussawi's supplement place today, and he advised to elave cutting until just about a month out, which I'll take into account.

In other good news, for just about the first time in memory I had a good arm session today. I've now put down my slow growth in biceps to the fact that I basically just havn't been training them hard enough. I'm mentally quitting before I physically need to. So that was good, best pump I've ever had today.

Plus next to no carbs. Carbs will add mass.

this is awful advice

ezpecially 4months out from your comp.

hes right in saying replace some of your shakes w real food, but to be honest I don't think you need to really change up anything atm. keep your split the same, eat around the same calories, the real shiz dont start till 12weeks out-and your already lean az, so if u start cardio and diet now, your guna b small, stringy and better off enter figure

You will be sweet bro.. dont even think about the comp ok.. its your first, keep eating lots and training.. diet 6 weeks out and youl look great, take it out im sure!!

As for the shakes.. if you can switch 1 out but otherwise dont stress, stick with what your comfortable with till after your show then you can try new shit, You wana know what your body is up to so keep it simple and stick to what you know..

1st show you always wana look mean, but plenty of time to experiment and change stuff up later

keep it up mate

I wasn't telling him to to hit the carbs before his show. I offered no advice.

But in his first post he say's he lacks mass, and without carbs he aint gonna get it.

Your general size and shape are good but (and don't take this the wrong way) you really need to get some serious posing advice, you can put in all the hard work you want but if you carnt show it off you wont do well. Find someone local the can give you a few tips

Defiunately no offence taken, as I could know next to nothing about posing. Don't see how a 17 year-old who's never competed before and has 7 months experience could take offence to that. Yep, I've got Malu Manu'u and and Gary Jones to help me there, but I thought I'd get onto it in about a month.

Start posing practice now. Its as good as a cardio session & the more you do the more those muscles gunna "pop" on the day.
