I guess alot of you saw the News paper article 2 weeks ago about MR NZ and the drug testing?Well Moe was found Not Guility( as told to me by Moe himself) at the tribunal hearing 2 days ago!!

The question that should be asked is how did the paper get the story in the first place? It was a total discrediting and defameing story directed purely at Moe, but it failed to mention that another athlete also had supposidly failed the test and was also at the same tribunal hearing!!

SPARC have said that in know way could it have been them who informed the media as that is totaly against Govt policy, and honestly has any one ever seen a story on SPARKS failed tests before, No cause they dont do it!

That leaves through the process of elimination a NZFBB Committe member as they were the only people privy to the information, and only a small few were informed ( about 5 according to Moe),so the leak to the press theroreticly came from the NZFBB.

Heres the Kicker!! Where the hell is Moes public apoligy!!!This info should have never reached the press , or at the very least untill the tribunal had meet!!The leaking of this story to the press did Moe a terrible injustis and he has the right to a apoligy!! but do you think he will get one ??? whatta you reckon??

Never heard of Moe???? I'm sorry but were have you been mate, he is your current NZFBB Mr NZ, And 1 of only A handful of Pro's we have in N.Z. Isn't this supposed to be a N.Z B/B site?? Despite what people say about Moe and his Business ethic's. He has been dealt a harsh blow, by the federation that he has supported in competition and financially. Someone out has a lot to answer for. It goes to show HRDCOR its hard to know who your friends are in this sport. That's for bringing this to the forum.

As far as I can gather( i stand to be corected by any NZFBB committe member, because we know you all read this site!!)Moe was tested twice prior and once after the alleged Failed Test, they all were Passed tests!!Under the rules the Passed Test after the failed test cancels out the Failed test as it was done within one week of the infringeing test !! So that being the case fair enough !!

The problem I have is ,first the leak to the press which defamed moe before they even got to get all the facts.

Secondly the absolute waste of time and resources spent on this matter by the NZFBB.Prior to the hearing the NZFBB new full well that if a guilty verdict was reached( Damm sounds like the MJ case)they had absolutly no athourity to do any thing about it, as Moe was no longer governed by the NZFBB amature federation, and lets be honest here , what if he was found gulity, who gives a toss, what are they ganna do smack him with a wet bus ticket, they cant do squat, sure they ban him from competing for 2 years in the NZFBB, big deal he just does what every elese has done and turns up for NABBA next week and gets himself a trip to the Universe.They couldnt stop him from applying for his Pro status as he got it via winning Mr Lebanon, but in knowing all this they still went and spent money they didnt have, by flying up Committe members from around the country to attend the Tribunal meeting.

Thirdly individuals whom were part of the Tribunal hearing were past steroid users them selfs!!! Talk about calling the kettle black!!

dont know moe, dont know any of the handful of NZ pros, where have I been ? all over the country and overseas regular watcher of sport of all types on TV. Is this maybe the fault of the NZ federations in not getting the number 1 person in thier sports in the spotlight. i think so.

Deegee you must be realy fringe, I mean by the sounds of it you probibly think Arnold is the current Mr Olympia,Any how you are on the money though by saying that the people who run our sport dont try hard enough, hell I know of a sponcer who wrote to the NZFBB and made numerous complaints about the way they were treated at a show, and the fact they promoted drugs at a drug tested show ,and the president wrote back and said, "Oh well Such is life", hows that for not trying !!!!,

I quite intently try to follow the BB sport.

How come there is never ever any mention of any local talent ?

I have never heard of Moe or any other big fish in the local scene.

There is a serious lack of exposure.

Maybe a local Muscle Mag or something could attract more attention.

And is it just me or is BB a sport thats entirely shunned by normal Tv channels ?

i think the media does shy away from it simple because of lack of interest from the general public. couple that with nz's small pool of athletes and this is what you get.

Probibly !!! the point is BB is a cult sport ,always has been ,always will be, the problem is even with a small amount of organisation and proper running it could be a extremly strong cult, but we dont have that , we have dropping numbers, poorly run shows and dwindling sponcers, hell it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see that the current formula has run its use by date!! But you know what the members are to BLAME, they just let the committes carry on in there own little worlds , taking no responsablitys for their cock ups and debts. Members did you know that the BB federations committes are totaly at your mercy!!! thats right you the members are meant to decide what happens with your federation, your vote is crucial to the running of your sport , unfortantly none of you give a toss,, none of you turn up to the meetings , none of you let the committe know your thoughts on the way things are run. In actual fact did you know that the NZFBB committe was elected by themselfs!! , thats right they all got there by electing each other!, no one voted for them or against them because no one turned up,, did you know that 99% of all the descisions that are made are made with less than 1% of membership vote, in other words the committe makes up there own minds , and look at the state things are in !!!Not one NZFBB committe member questioned the $45000-00 dept that was announced at the AGM, not one they all just sat there and excepted it !!,, but its not there fault its yours!! think about it !!

i hope to see the profile of the sport lifted, and whilst I might not ever compete I do attend shows where I can.(mostly amateur and local) there seems to be a big gulf between people who bodybuild and people who compete, even here on this board. Now who is moe and where do I find more aobut him

Well done Murcury, Rich Caspari introduced the body building world to a whole new look, his skin was paper thin, his vascularity was amazing and his clutes were absoultly shreeded, when Rich first presented this look on the pro circut every pro scrambled to emulate this condition.Although Rich didnt have a perfect body his thickness and condition enabled him to beat every one that came before him except the great Lee Haney, that is why Rich earned the nick name The Dragon Slayer!!Rich was extremly precise in his food preperation and started the trend of precise calorie measureing and food weighing!!, just a bit of useless info for ya,s, now you got get the other 9 questions!
