blairandkelly
its great stuff , our bodies produce it naturally and as long as you keep up your fluid intake (increase the amount you drink) youl be fine check this link and try google.comhttp://www.bodybuildingforyou.com/creat ... ffects.htm
fergie01
Egg whites is protein, what other protein are you taking. What Carbs are you taking. Are you taking any other supplements. 20 Questions I know but if protein is all that you are taking, you are on the right train but wrong track....?? justy1
To Spite the fact that i only weighed less than 54 kg with body fat of 15.5 % when i joined the gym i eat far to much for most people, and yes i meant protein and egg whites are supplements to me. My carbs i guess would be that horrible plate of porridge for breakfast, along with 3 egg whites, protein shake ,one cup of coffee and i forgot 2 caps of flax oil. thats at 6.30am next food comes at smoko. I had my bc yesterday now i weigh 60kg roughly body fat of 9.5%. I was eating 6 double sandwiches at work but my bc went up last month to 10.5%. now i have a food diary and no longer eat those sandwiches or the 4 plus bananas a day but hey im still new at this so any help would be welcomed. By the way i work out 6 days a week anywhere from 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs but i dont do cardio as i loose weight to quickly.cheers
Flex
9.5% bodyfat? You're female right. Your bodyfat readings are way off the mark as you'd be near dead if your bodyfat was 9.5%. Average for women is 20%+, very low is about 12-14% and anything under 12% will normally result in major loss of breast tissue, and cessation of menstrual cycle. Under 10% and you'd actually be a health risk. Females have a much higher essential fat requirement than males - around 12% vs 3%. Essential fat is the fat that surrounds and protects the internal organs, spinal cord and in the brain and bone marrow.I would probably suggest you find a new method of bodyfat testing. Unless of course you really are 9.5% in which case I'd stop training for a while and focus on eating right.
justy1
thats interesting ! so how should i have my body fat test done cos im fit and heathly and my doctor says when he meets me at the supermart, that if he had more patients like me, he would be out of business. My fat test is done on 4 points hip 3mm, belly button ring area , triceps 9mm, and on my back by my shoulder blade. perhaps it is the way my test is done. I eat very well. And as for breast tissue i cant loose what i never ever had. If you want i will post my days diet for you to see? My whole family is little like me. cheers
rollesbygirl
From another "girl" trying to grow a bit of muscle, I am on my first ever cycle of creatine and I have not had any side effects and the bloating only lasted four days, I am into week two and have a new found enthusiasm and energy during training, have been increasing my weights slightly also so for me I think it has worked, guess the proof will be in the bodyfat measurements next time my composition is done. For all those girls who are scared their weight training will make them huge, I shout out to you "IF ONLY IF ONLY" it was that simple.

rollesbygirl
That doesnt sound too flash, maybe you could try a different brand, I had a bit of a read up before taking it myself and there are some potential sides, but as it is something we have naturally in our bodies should not be too extreme. I have had virtually no negative side effects and even it if it pyschological I am putting more effort in my weight training sessions which is all good!Am a big chicken as far as posting pics, maybe when i start see my triceps (no amount of arm pinching and squeezing seems to make them show up haha) Justy your pics are awesome -when are you competing if not already? rollesbygirl
Thats very cool, nice to chat with somebody who hasnt done it before either and wants to! I totally know what you are saying about perhaps doing a comp away from your home ground, it would be a great idea to sneak away and give a whirl where nobody knows who you are eh? Will keep you posted regarding the bc - off to train now - gotta love these long weekends, where training doesnt have to be at 6am, looking at your pics however dont think you have anything to worry about!
