Bulimic style?

If you were to eat a ultimate quarter pack from kfc (3 pieces of chicken, 1 picnic bar, large chips, can of pepsi) and then proceeded to throw it up on purpose (bulimic style) how much of the bad stuff would actually be in your body in terms of saturated fats etc?

Note: I have not done this and am not planning to LOL

2nd Note: this meal costs $10.90 for all you powerlifters out there :pfft:

Shux bro - don't even consider doing this (and Im not saying you are)...but this can really f*ck u up and trust me I know. Better off to have to have scheduled cheat meals and try to be content with those. In my own personal opinion, if someone can't get ready for a show without bulimic symptoms then they are not mentally strong enough and shouldnt be getting ready for the show at all...

wtf? lol wat do u mean by this?

Of course I mean binge/cheat meals, I schedule them once a week and have my last usually 1 or 2 weeks before, always on a sunday so that the carb boost helps me through legs on Monday..

One time a cheat meal was biting a fried chip and spitting it out on my birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These days it would go typically something like this.

Latte, BK whopper with cheese (only go single whopper to leave room in my stomach), medium plate of nachoes with loads of cheese and sour cream, ice cream, lollies, milo, coke, piece of fruit, piece of cake, biscuits, youghut, some chocolate....maybe a late piece of pizza

basically from 7.30 on Sunday night till bed time....anything goes!

I don't recommend this for everyone, I burn fat reasonably well, and don't scrimp on the hard yards in the gym or in the cardio.

I train very intense....so I'm allowed.

Monday just gone we did 8 sets for Leg Presses, 2 minute intervals, putting it up 1 plate per side for each set, we worked up to 8 plates a side for 30 reps.

Nice will have to try high reps on the leg press, on tuesday worked up to my heaviest yet with 11 plates a side 3 sets for 12 reps. I find the leg press is a bit limitless though and don't really feel like it will platou like squats and deads which are limited by smaller muscle groups. Still feeling my legs today though

Carbs and sugars are begun to be digestedas they contact saliva.

Tests on bulimics show many do not get up the amount of food in closed testing conditions that they consume.

If however you were able to empty your stomach to the point of bringing up bile and used stomach lavage to clean the stomach it is estimated that you should probably calculate for 25% of the calories first consumed as been digested. However for the long ill bulimic the body stops producing the digestive fluids needed to digest creating delayed gastric emptying meaning many become extremely emaciated and often die even when eating 20 times a day and 6 - 7 kilos of food in a sitting.

thanks for that queen. I have to admit that the last comp i was tempted to bring up a cheat meal. I just felt soooo guilty for eating it, thinking that it would show up ten fold, and cost shape etc. instead i just beasted my self at the gym and did an extra hour of cardio. would have been less pain if i just bought it up :)

No problem did a few research papers on those subjects a while back. Really unless a person is able to immediatly induce vomiting and it is followed by stomach lavage it is not going to do much as most people would not have the ability to empty their stomach completely.

Also it can cause extreme drops in potassium, (most bulimics need regular weekly potassium checks lack of it can cause leg pains and kidney failure) and other essential body salts and cause dizziness, fainting, and worse. So puking before a comp would probably be a really bad idea. The loss of fluids would cause you to feel dehydrated and when competing many might already be it could cross a line of making it deadly. I have no idea what the effects of binge purge could be on someone whos been preparing for a comp and already putting their body under high levels of stress.
