Tattoos?

What tattoos do you guys have? Any interesting stories behind them or just cause they're cool?

I was thinking of getting one but don't want to have it distort as I add mass.

Also how does having a tattoo or 2 go down in a bodybuilding comp? What about general modeling?

i dont have any, but for model/bb id say stick with no tats. they can be mostly covered for comps.. but you may be overlooked for model because of tats.. (eg: they may not want to spend time/money covering them)

No tattoos here, but later on I might be tempted by something small on the shoulder (once I've got a shoulder, that is :P)

Modeling - I don't know, but I suspect it could limit your options?

Competition - I think the layers of tan hide most tattoos (I have seen some on competitors, but they were pretty big tattoos). However, according to the NZFBB's guidelines:

...The judge should also look for good skin tone with an absence of surgical or other scars, spots, acne or tattoos, which the IFBB considers as a skin blemish, tidily dressed hair, well-shaped feet, and toes. When having difficulty in placing two or more competitors who seem to be on the same level, the judge should look for faults in those aspects listed above which will help to differentiate among the competitors.

I couldn't find any reference to tattoos on the NABBA website.

Cant say I have ever heard of that before, must be some kind of infection or reaction. i would imagine it is pretty rare and not really something to worry about. It will not stop me from getting further work done if I want to in the future sometime
