Something i've been working on

Heh, the video quality is fine. It's just not the conventional up-is-up orientation, but that's ok.

More importantly, the video is awesome! How the hell are you doing that lying-to-handstand thing? I've watched that bit several times, and I can't work it out. I'm beginning to suspect it's magic.

I hope you're going to be entering our crossfit challenge, Cory...

Thank you very much,

i've been practicing the handstand thing for about 3 weeks because I seen a friend do it in the gym, next stage is go from there to handstand push ups i think.

in terms of crossfit i've never actually given it a shot, but am considering it. Just not sure where to start.

:D

Seriously though, I haven't done any crossfit other than testing out the Challenge routine. I found the hardest part of that was the chinups, but looking at your video, I reckon you'd fly through them. Literally!

And you guys think yoga isnt cool?

If you want to do it It's pretty much this but in a different order:

Step by step:

  • Jump to crow pose:
  • crow or jump to handstand :
       or   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v22E-JMElmI
  • Or if you cant do a handstand or crow just seach beginner crow or beginner handstand if you cant do any of those yet! I like Kino for progressions.

Will teach you step by step :)

ok so i just did a test run for the challenge. After my first around i was at 1.12 mins.

I was using 40kg for barbell thrusters (20kg bar, plus 10kg either side). My current weight is 66.5kg, so according to the Wilks calculator above, that gives me 31.216 Wilks points.

My score: 345 seconds - (10 x 31.216)= 32.84

I will do a couple weeks training and then post a proper vid of it.
