Controlled Labs WHITE FLOOD review

Bought this product around 4 months ago after my jack3d supply had run out.

Little about myself and my use, I generally only use pre-workout products on days I'm feeling low on energy, I need a kick up the ass, or chest day lol. Been lifting on and off for about 4 years, current stats

-Getting Old, 6ft, 91kgs, around 15% BF(almost time to cut again)

 

Have used various pre-workout products over the past few years, and found for myself the old Jack3d and Mesomorph were far superior to any other pre-workout on the market, when the law changes came in and DMAA was banned, I looked for alternatives. After scouring the net going through tons of reviews for a DMAA free product, I came across WHITE FLOOD with many glowing reviews so I thought I would give it a go.

 

After trying various other DMAA free products which did little more than give me a sugar rush, I was sceptical this would be any different. Much to my surprise after 15mins of downing my drink I started to get that tingly feeling that the older DMAA products would give me. It was about this stage my desire to get into the gym and throw some weights around became apparant. Few warm up sets were seemingly a lot easier than normal, into my working sets, I was amazed how much easier my regular lifts seemed to be. Throwing on some more weights and upping around another 5% over my usual weights, I managed to push out some PBs get a wicked pump on and breeze through my workout.

 

Taste - 4/10  I have never come across a pre-workout other than Jack3d lemonade? that I havent thought tasted utterly disgusting. My girlfriend however actually likes the taste. So dont read to much into my score on this.

Mixability - 7/10  Few small particles at the bottom of the glass which I have found with most pre-workout products. Generally I continue to stir any product until the last drop.

Effectiveness - 9/10  My lifts increase slightly, more desire to get in and throw around some weights, with a general overall increase in my work rate.

Price per serving - 8/10  Hard to judge this as I bought mine in from overseas, as at the time only 1 supplement company I found here in NZ was selling this product. I managed to get it in cheaper than what I could here(inc shipping) and double the quantity(remembering this was 4 months ago). Looking around currently I noticed punchsupplements has it at $80 for 50 serves.

Overall - 8/10 Hightly recommend this product to anyone that likes their pre-workout products, would put this up on par with the likes of the old DMAA products.

 

In conclusion a great product by Controlled Labs, up there with the best pre-workouts products around. My only issues with this product much like many others of its kind, on the odd occasion it has a minor appetite suppressing effect. Will be added to my regular list of supplement purchases.

*Note This review is on their old formula which is still around however Controlled labs has recently revised their formula, and from all the reviews I have read it is just as good if not better than the original.

 

TLDR; Great pre-workout product, so go try it!
