Pre-Workout

From what I have seen most people seem to respond differently to different pre-workouts. I have felt really good from some and just average from others but my mates will feel exactly the opposite. Some people don't like pre-workout at all and prefer a coffee. Best to try a few different ones and see which one you like the most. My favorite would have to be Superpump Max though.

It's hard to reccomend something like a pre-workout because it works in different ways for everyone.

 

For example, i brought some Curse blue rasperberry flavour, i got one with a friend ( Double your poison deal - shotgun ) anyways, we both had the same pre-workout, same flavour bla bla bla. Anyways my friend literally drinks about 3 heavy caffiene drinks a day, honest if not more, weither its coffee or V drinks etc - So il'd assume he'd have a fried nerve system and be completely tolerant to the stims in the pre-workout. Anyways to the point, long story short - He takes 1 scoop and starts jumping up and down from the pump and beta-alanine tingles and such, as for me, i drink about 1-2 cups of caffiene heavy drinks every 2 days or so, i started off on 1/2 of a scoop and worked upto 3 1/2 scoops of curse all within the first week of purchasing and trying a pre-workout.... i didn't even feel a single tickle or pinch on my skin, nor any rush at any point of this.

 

Sorry for wording the story weird, am tired but theres my experience. Just shows how it works in differen't ways, its really a game of trail and error.

I'm considering picking up some Craze though -.. heard nothing but good reviews about it and even people who are stim-tolerante say they still get a kick out of it. But i hear you get some crazy hiena chasing dreams ( hodgetwins source ) .

juggernaut: not as good as i'd hoped.

 

 

But everyone responds differently.  Try ordering a bulk protein to cosy up to a supplier and ask for some pre workout samples and see which is best for you

So is "Hyphy Mud" just instant coffee in a fizzy drink? Do you mix it to a mud-like paste (as per the name), or dissolve it in the whole can?

What's the difference between Hyphy Mud and pre-caffeinated fizzy energy drinks like V, Red Bull, etc?

You can YouTube Hyphy Mud by Kali Muscle. It's quiet popular ATM. You use a little bit of carbonated drink and a teaspoon or so of instant coffee. Make sure you didn't use too much soda because once you start stirring the chemical reaction causes the drink to fizz and foam quiet abit. You drink the foam and the soda at the end. 

 

Difference mainly is is extra caffeine and whatever that chemical reaction between them does. MUD stands for Makes U Dangerous also.. But the foam I guess you could say kind of looks like mud, but not sure why exactly it's mud.. But yeah.

Pretty sure that adding caffeine to caffeine and sugar =/= super caffeine.  It's just more caffeine.  Being all foamy may well change the rate of absorption to a trivial degree.

 

If one is stim-sensitive I'm sure this will do stuff.  For me, no.

 

Products containing BA and citrulline malate may do stuff, outside of the CNS stimulant arena.

at the moment i do caffiene cap + gatorade powder + 3.2grams beta alinine. if you need more of a kick can just add 1 more caffiene cap. really like the beta alinine tingles and since i buy it separately can keep taking it on rest days too instead of just getting it on workout days if i relied on a PWO for it.

 

it's a nice cheap kick works out at like 80 cents a serve as opposed to the premade pwos which are more like $2~4 per serve without side effect of needing to go toilet (as you would with some PWOs or even drinking coffee). main downside is there is lack of pumping agents and the fact that most people build up tolerance to caffiene pretty quickly/already quite tolerant to it. luckily for me i barely have caffiene products so quite sensitive to it. worth a shot if looking for budget route

 

the gatorade makes up for half the cost per serve and isn't really necessary for most i just use it for taste and to help with cramps. could realy be any cheap powdered drink like raro which may be even better because more simple sugars
