Pseudonym
OK, I know the worth of this supplement is debated at length, but it had been a long while since I splurged on any remotely dubious supplements! Besides, it was half price. The product is Tribuvar, by SAN, and contains 500mg Bulgarian Tribulus Terrestrius per capsule, standardised for 45% Furostanol Saponins - whatever they are! They suggest taking 1-2 caps 2-3 times a day with meals. They warn not to exceed 6 caps. How does this compare with other tribulus products? What's a good amount to take? And why should you not exceed 6 caps - I've never heard of tribulus causing problems?
Oros
I've used Profight Tribulus 750mg/cap @ 6 caps per day for 8 weeks, then changed over to Tribex @ 6 tabs per day for the last 4 weeks, can't say I've noticed any negative side affects that I could directly attribute to the Tribulus, nor can I say I've noticed any advantages either. But, maybe once I've stopped using the tribulus for a while I may notice some changes that may help me consider re-starting its use again. Flex
Musculo - just wondering if you could explain how a 5ml serve can contain 37 grams of Tribulus?
musclearmor
Remembering I work for EAS, if you are looking for the BEST QUALITY Tribulus, I would spend my money on Biotest TRIBEX. EAS doesnt produce any Tribulus products. I've recently tried their Alpha Male product, but never got any gains or strength off this either which was dissappointing. Usually a good sign if the testosterone product is working is if you wake up with a good woodey!EAS Muscle Armor is the only thing that has worked the most noticably for me, but I used 3 jars back to back, and at $150 a jar, thats not cheap. Muscle Armor gave me 4kgs of lean mass in 2 1/2 months withour altering anything else I already did. However, these days, after lifting iron for nearly 12 years, Im lucky to gain 4-6kg of solid lean mass in a year so I was very happy with this result. Anyhow, back to the Tribulus...Tribex was defintely the strongest Tribulus I ever used but my skin went crazy with spots so I never used it in the summer. Got some small gains but never enough to want to try a second bottle. WOuld be best for someone to do a blood test on their testosterone levels before using it regualrly and towards the end of finsihing the product to have a better understanding of how well it works. Pseudonym
Musculo - just wondering if you could explain how a 5ml serve can contain 37 grams of Tribulus? Now you mention it, Flex, that's a very good point! A large scoop of protein powder is ~30g... I don't see how you could dissolve that in 5ml (a teaspoonful) of liquid.I thought that had to be a typo, so I looked it up elsewhere. http://www.ultimatephysique.com.au/Cell ... pr-97.htmlNutritional Information Per 100mlEnergy 160Kj Protein 15g Carbohydrates TotalSugars 20g16g Sodium 450mg Potassium 300mg Tribulus Terrestris 750g dh* Muscle Tab 8g Arginine Peptide 300mg Zinc 300mg Magnesium 4.5g Vitamin B6 80mg * dried herbThat HAS to be 750mg, not 750g - surely?! 750g is three quarters of a kilo!
deegee
I had a look at the australian cell biology site and it says the same and it doesn't look like she has just cut and pasted the information across.I am interested to hear how people who have tried this product have found it. I have never tried any of the cell biology range but they do have a good name with the people who I have spoken to.

Straight from my training diary...started at 85.2kg with 12% B. fat, and finshed exactly 10 weeks later at 88.7kg, same B. fat.If it is any concelation, this morning I weighed 89.6kg with approx 12% B. Fat this morning, and am using Muscle Armor again for just a week now, but this is 2 months further down the track from the end of my last burst. Goal for summer: Be approx 7% B. fat and 85kg by December!
Flex
Hate to burst your bubble dude but if you stayed the same % you gained 3kg of muscle and gained 1/2kg of fat. Pretty good still but not 100% solid muscle. You'd have to be doing something pretty special not to gain any fat while gaining muscle. (4months maybe abit longer)just used balance protein powder thts the only supplement, also one bottle of norateen heavyweight 2 which did jack all and in my opinion had nothing to do with the weight gain alll strict dieting. eating the right amount of the right food at the right times.just my experience, everyones body is different tho. Looking at your photo's you look very much a mesomorph so you're lucky as far as the genetics go. You did well to gain 7kg of muscle in 4 months and lose 1.3kg of fat. However at 73 kg you're bodyweight was pretty low for your height and you had a lot room to add muscle easy. If you continue to train naturally once you reach close to 90kg as with MA adding muscle will certainly get harder. Had you dieted down to get to 73kg before you started on Leanne's programme? 2guns
Had you dieted down to get to 73kg before you started on Leanne's programme?no i hadnt. Yes, but MA has been training for 12 years so it's a little more difficult.exactly, this is y i doubted his fast gains when he claimed they were from eas muscle armour.Looking at your photo's you look very much a mesomorph so you're lucky as far as the genetics go.i dnt know wat a mesomorph bodytype is. but i dnt think genetics was a big advantage to me, i trained hard and eat lots.imo i think it takes alot more than genetics to build muscle.but from yr other posts u seem like some kinda pro, so i mostly believe u
