lazyone
thanks everyoneeeeeee...I was thinkin bout how to solve this problem today and came up with:1. Rolling glass bottles up and down my shins like some kickboxers do to get the nerves used to getting battered  2. wear shin pads while doing CDLs3. change the way I do the CDLs so Im not banging the 'n bar against my 'n legs for every single ing rep4. kick some palm tree trunks a la jean claude van damme styles to harden up 5. Be the ultimate cool girl at the gym and wear some big long socks covered in chalk (lol cheers Varven )orrrrrrrr, and this is a big umm OR (?):6. suck it up and stop being a wuss cheers guys

Oros
I had/have the same problem, so I decided to do some research on the net.......ended up reading through a powerlifting forum, don't remember which one, but the end result, going on what was being said on the forum was that,.......as long as yor form is correct, for every cm that the bar is NOT DRAGGING up your shins  , you are sacrificing about 20-25kg, minimum, off the bar, but more importantly, the further away from your shins that the bar is during the lift, the greater the danger to your lower back.End result is that I drag the shins, but now only do deadlift every second or third back day.... Varven
CDL will scrape your shins if your form is perfect. Long socks covered in chalk is the best option.Off topic but hardening your shins per-se is a concept that doesnt work. You just kill the nerves and desensitize the skin in the region, Im not particularly fond of doing that.Id rather retain my senses.
