Gym rat
Came across this interesting recipe on Instagram this morning called diet coke cup cakes . Thought I post it up on hear . From what I make of it sounds tasty and nice. The recipe for it is pretty easy and basic with pretty good macros as well . All you need is cup cake mix and one can of diet coke by mixing the diet coke and cupcake mix together .macros are114 calories1g fat25g carbs1.4g of protein Going to give it a try sometime when I do have a cheat day
maccaz
Those are terrible macros and depend fully on the type of cup cake mix FellowshipOfTheRon
Realtalk
So it's just cupcake mix, mixed with diet coke instead of water? Why would you eat this kind of food and be concerned with the macro nutrient make up or it. Smh.Regardless of the Macros its shit food no matter what the macros say. 25g of carbs from cupcake mix is worthless. Kalidane

Bruce Al
Personally, id use regular coke as its taste better and ive heard diet coke gives you cancer which can make you skinny and lose hair. Its just what i heard- i think its something to do with the asparagus they use in the diet coke which causes it rather than the sugar bamboo used in regular coke. donz
What the hell haha whats going to happen to the diet coke when you cook it in the oven at 180 or whatever? I've seen a video of a guy boiling coke or pepsi and it turns into black scum on the pan... +1 amen for jesus
BeastBuilder
What's the point of this lol.Water has no calories anyway so not like your making it diet friendly or anything. If I'm allowed cup cakes, I'm guna have a god dam cupcake, not some Bibby Recipe Cup Cake that'll probably give me a stroke.I'm almost glad I didn't get to smell what the Rat was cooking lol. Pseudonym
Well, people do add beer or lemonade to bread and scones to help them rise. Theoretically the carbonation helps make them lighter and fluffier. But you'd need to take the sweetness into account too. Unless the packet cupcake mix was designed to have a soft drink added to it, it's already made with enough sugar to make it the right level of sweetness. Adding more sweetness on top of that? Yurgh. Also, I'm not sure how well those artificial sweeteners stand up to heat. When protein powders turn to shit in the microwave, isn't that often due to the sweetener? No... just no.
