Houston
Hey everyone!I normally train at work but today went into city fitness and didn't bring my tag... Apparently even with a receptionist they can't sign you in without a tag. I have worked 24 hour gyms in the past and that's half the point of having manned times.I can't find my contract so I'm hoping that someone here has theirs around and can let me know if there is a clause regarding this? Pseudonym
Gidday Houston. Seems you have a problem. (I do apologise - I couldn't help myself... It's probably not the first time you've heard that one either?) It is pretty strange that they wouldn't let you in without a tag. I just dug up my Les Mills contract, and it doesn't cover anything like that. It may be that the Cityfitness has it spelt out in their contract as a condition of entry, and if so, they'd technically be in the right - but you'd think the receptionist could use a bit of common sense and waive that clause. It'd be interesting to know if it really is official Cityfitness policy.
Leeroid
Probably either the receptionist is a greenie and thinks they have to follow every rule in the book, or they're a genuine asshole. Or maybe you looked like you were just trying to scam them for a free workout
