  1. Crossfit

I had to admit I was curious about crossfit but the crazy ass prices through me off. Once I was able to train again I thought I'd see if I could get a free trial. Kia kaha in town gave me a full week free and I have been back every single day. Regardless of the price the atmosphere and coaches are worth it. My core strength and back strength are much greater then they were post back injury and I'm having fun even though some of the wod's smash you. Not trying to sound cliche but it has changed my life. Great people, great setup, great environment. Hopefully I will be competing in December.
  2. Finally can start training again

I know I was stoked when the physio said you can start lifting weights now. wooohooo
  3. Its a beautiful day in my life today, Physio and Hydrotherapy have worked wonders for my back and I'm able to start lifting again :D Although I'm limited to what I can do (nothing bent over, no legs, no back flexion) I'm still happy that I can ease myself back into some weights woohoo.
  4. call me maybe

    Made my day
  5. Help

I can't get to the gym or do any physical form of activity for about 3 months due to a herniation of a disc in my back. I want to maintain muscle without the added fat and have already lost 4 kgs in 2 weeks. Help please
  6. Crossfit prices':,?@$$

Morning junkies, I've been looking into this crossfit business for overall strength and development of some lagging muscle groups aka lower back which is current fucked? But these prices are off the reservation 250 a month that shit is just silly. Why are these prices so ridiculous? Anyone know any decent crossfit places around Auckland for a decent price?
  7. Hgh

If within the next 6 weeks I get a shooting pain down my left leg then yes. At the moment the pain is only in my hamstrings so not so bad. I just can bend from side to side
  8. Hgh

Turns out to be a herniated disk which no drug/steriod will help. This is balls no gym for 3 to 6 weeks
  9. My lower back is screwed

Turns out its a back sprain combined with a small herniated disk. Have to step away from the gym for 3 to 6 weeks fml
  10. My lower back is screwed

I have the chiro today and he'll be scanning my X-rays to make sure it's not another stress fracture. I'm just sick of going through the same motions all the time I want a solution not a temporary fix
  11. Hgh

    Confirm the claims
  12. Hgh

Morning all, Just had my 4th back sprain of the year and getting kinda sick of it. The dr and chiro all say the same thing it's chronic due to the injuries suffered from my cricket days. They tell me to strengthen my back and that goes well for awhile then one day getting out of bed and it feels like I'm paralysed. I've been doing some reading on hgh and some people claim that it can help to rid you of ailments and help the healing process. Can someone help?
