  2. This is me...

Well done for posting mate.. Il let everyone else explain what you should do haha, they can put it better then me Goodluck and keep us all updated!!! Maybe start a journal!
  3. Thanks for the informative replies! The protein im using contains 129g carbs of which 25g of those are from sugars... so essentially i dont need any more carbs from solid foods? before bed ? The reason for my question was that id rather get full on a protein rich food source, rather then over indulge on say a bowl of oats/rice etc...
  4. Hi guys, i train at night time, and finish at approximately 9pm. When i get home i have a protein shake aand maybe a little bit of chicken if im feeling up to it.. But i try to avoid carbs at all costs... Am i wrong in saying that i only need protein post work out to help repair the muscle cells, because carb's ( due to me going bed shortly after ) would be stored as fat? ? Thanks D
  5. Lynx rules of rugby

  6. Tattoos & bodybuilding

I have got a large tat, covering the whole circumfrance of my arm ( 3/4 sleeve ) and it goes over my shoulder and onto my chest/back. Like the previous comment says, the tattoo artists should be able to fix up any mishaps haha..
  7. thick. solid. tight?

  9. Canterbury compression tops on 1-day

Cheers mate.. I was looking for a good deal on some compression gear.
  10. DF? i get the sore right hip from the deadlifts but nothing in my lower abs/groin region. I have done the deadlifting in front of sum1, and they said my technique was fine , and same for the squat (with the bar , no weight ) I think il just have a break from squats, i know its great for producing testosterone etc. but i have spoke to some guys with huge legs , that avoid squats because of the stress it puts on their body, They now go heavy with DB lunges , like you said.. ( im sure abit of variation, wont harm me anyway)
  11. Sweet as guys , thanks for the advice.. Thing is my lower abs is painful , so i dont think i want to take the risk... Il do light weight squats, and just stick to that and just steadily increase the weight in small amounts, and hopefully it will sort itself out, Il continue to use the hack squat and leg press for my heavy work.. and the fronts of my legs are lagging so i was told about a smith machine lunge which puts great emphasis on the fronts, so i might start that. Thanks for your advice guys.
  12. Hi all just joined

Hi Dave, welcome, and i look forward to reading some of your advice that you may provide us in the near future !
  13. Yeah, i might play with my feet positions, and just take it easy.. My warmups are generally okay, could do abit more stretching i guess.. So will i still build muscle doing 5 sets of 10 , 60kg squats?
  14. Hey bro, i was in your position about 2 months ago.. I eat a bowl of oats before bed bro, aswell as a couple of glasses of milk aswell , to get those complex carbs in bro . This should keep you going throughout the night !!
  15. Thats what i thought, but it only does it on heavy weights and goes away quite fast..
