    W38d4 deadlift 215 6x4 under 30 mins. Tough going but smashed it out good morning 3x8 back ext 4x15 1 leg ext to fail 1 leg ham curl to fail One more heavy week then Deload (and wife is now 37.5 weeks pregnant so am waiting for her to pop and Deload will obviously begin early when that happens lol)
  14. Went gym for the first time after 3 weeks. This time, I am determined to be consistent with my workouts, up until the point where I am not.     Week 4 of getting back into it, day 1 went like this. Deads 1x20 1x15 1x10 1x6 Close reverse grip pulldown 3x10 Dumbell row 3x10 Straight arm pulldowns 3x12 Felt good. Some good DOMS today.
  19. TFB - to Nationals and Beyond!

    April 13th, 2019 - Central Districts Powerlifting Association Regional Championships BW 137.6, M2/ 120+ Equipped Squat: 260/ 275/ 285kg - 12.5kg PB! 50 Centurion and Signature Gold knee wraps. This was a WPNZ equipped record for the 55-59yo, 50-54yo AND 45-49yo age-groups in the SHW category. Bench: Missed 150/ Got 150 / missed 156kg. 52 Fury - still in a beginner's shirt. Not happy at going 1/4, missed opener because refs had a view on whether my elbows were locked that different from mine but still a 5kg PB Deadlift: 225/ 240/ missed 256kg - still done classic - but happy to have moved the 256 to midway, after never having had it in my hand before. The 240kg was a WPNZ equipped record for the 55-59, 50-54 and 45-49yo age groups. Total: 675kg - 5kg PB and a new WPNZ equipped M4 (50-59yo) record total.

  22. Training Partner - Oamaru

    Hi, I am looking for a training partner in Oamaru. I train 6 days a week at 4:15am. Must be serious in wanting to improve their physique. Doesn't have to be really experienced, but some previous training would be good. Would be good to have someone more experienced than myself but if not I can help with training and diet.

    Yeah man sounds like you have it all figured out. Did you consider the following though? If you take it orally its bioavailability is only something like 97%. If you take it intravenously its very close to 100%, say 99.9% 0.1% wasted as opposed to 3% wasted is a 97% reduction in wastage. Maths is below. (0.03-0.001)/0.03 =0.966666 recurring 0.97*100/1 = 97% as a percentage (reduction in wastage)

    Some nice words here and my first post for years but being far luckier than Old Bull. I talked to him many times how Id trained a 20,30,40 and 50 year old but never a 60 year old. Old Bulls words to me were simple.... Just get under the bar and start squating, the first set hurts like f*ck and then it gets hard. A true warrior and set a great example to how real gyms should still be. Respect.
