Figure Back After Baby

Recommended Posts

I'm back into the gym and have been going well for 6 weeks (though had 1 week off when I had a cold).

So far, so good...I'm pretty darn happy with my progress.

Lucy is 14 weeks old today; so it was time to get the camera out. We tested a different spray tan last night hence the bronze look.

Pic 1: 2 weeks before Lucy arrived, pic taken 22 April.

Pic 2: 15 1/2 weeks later, pic taken 8 August.

Flax oil

Glutamine

I have a bottle of Morph caps that I may try this week. :?

TRAINING:

2 on, 1 off, 2 on, 2 off with 5x5 training. (5 reps, 5 sets, increasing weight by 5lb every week), so days are mon-tue-thur-fri. Mostly compound exercises.

3-4 HITT cardio sessions + 2 'whatever' sessions

I start back at work in another week just an hour each morning so wont be able to do cardio after weights. But I have a plan instore...

Lucy has started to sleep through the night (Yeehaaa!) till around 7am so if that continues I'll be up at 6 to do interval sprints on the treadmill for 30 minutes 4 days per week, which is what I used to do for competition prep.

Body stats are due in another week so I'll share those when they're done. :D

Wow Sheta, you are looking fabulous for having a 14 week old. Now I want to cry. I can't believe you only put on 12.5kg! With my first is was 22kg and 25kg with my second. I blame it on being short. You will be back in shape in no time.

Sorry to hear that. I put on 29kgs with my first: Lincoln (10 this month) so made sure I kept my food pretty clean throughout the pregnancy with Lucy. I was also quite active up till the last month.

Work hard and you'll get great results.

Thanks everyone.

Tomorrow is the start of the early cardio:

I have a date with the dreadmill for 30 minutes of intervals.

The goal: down 1/2 cup of black coffee and run like hell!

Hopefully the kiddies are good and dont wake up till I'm all done!
