rooney111
Can you guys come tell them? :shifty: I think im already the crazy cardio girl I don't wana be psycho bitch aswell lolis there any chance that you might've been doing cardio for ages, sweating like a piggie, no towel, sticky sweaty stinky clothes, affecting fellow gym people's sanity to concentrate on training rather than "wtf-ing" looking at you? - probably not! These are the only reasons i would "lightly suggest" someone to take it easy on cardio.
Grego
I understand where everyone is coming from, both the original post and others.Just to be a little different (and perhaps nuts?) I love cardio. It's my time. I couldn't do it without my iPod Nano however! I listen to Trance music and "get lost in it". I think about how it's an awesome tool for leaning down, what song and what I might do for a routine at my next comp, or solve the worlds problems all in one session and wallah, finished! I am cheeky at the gym though; I can read a magazine while I am on the treadmill so that also passes time. I didn't really like it that much before i developed that "skill". I prefer to get out on the hill (here in Napier we have an awesome hill with plenty of stairs and walkways)I use the approach that the doco "The Secret" does: If you get out of bed in the morning, kick the bedside table and say "It's going to be one of those days!" then of course it is; you just told yourself it will. You'll believe it. The power of the mind can work both ways. Ever thought of something you didn't want to do as a kid and it took you forever to do it? Now-a-days as an adult (you don't have to grow up though! :pfft: ) you skip the moaning and understand the get it done attitude. And as no one will listen to the moaning :pfft: Anyway, the hill is calling, I'm off for my Sunday walk! \:D/ Grego
