rose
If your goals are fat loss, I suggest avoiding Up & Gay. There are better options out there. Up & Gay contains quite a bit of sugar, about 18.5g, per 250ml serving. IMO it also has some pretty yuck ingredients that should probably be kept in the science lab.If your goals aren't fat loss, maybe occasionally if you like it. But I personally wouldn't make it a staple. It's junk.Nutrition infoEnergy (kJ) 850(Cal) 203Protein (g) 9.3Fat, total (g) 3.8- Saturated fat (g) 0.5- Trans fat (g) 0.0- Polyunsaturated fat (g) 2.3- Monounsaturated fat (g) 1.0Carbohydrate, total (g) 31.3 - Sugars (g) 18.5Dietary Fibre (g) 3.8Ingredients:Filtered Water, Breakfast Cereal (5%) (Wheat Maltodextrin, Chicory Inulin, Corn Syrup Solids, Maize Starch), Skim Milk Powder, Cane Sugar, Soy Protein, Sunflower Oil [contains antioxidant (vitamin E)], Fructose, Cocoa (0.5%), Minerals (Phosphates Of Calcium And Sodium), Flavours, Food Acid (332), Vegetable Gums (460, 466, 407), Salt, Vitamins (C, Niacin, A, B12, B6, B2, B1, Folate). nate225
^^ Agreed. At a push when there's nothing else to eat it beats nothing, but not a regular for a serious BBer.
Dr Squat
Agreed. Up and Gay has a feeble amount of protein also.
Mr_Krabs
The energize has 20 g protein but unfortunately most of that is from "boobie-inducing" soy protein
NZPT
price=expensiveingredents=shitas rose said better options.why not a protein shake or protein smoothy with berries to replace this. most powders are less then $1.80 per serve if you work it out, frozen berries are cheap and low in carbs if you dont go overboard.your body will thank you for it. Swampy
And for the same money you could grab a huge but similarly sugar packed cold Primo out of the dairy fridge.
