Specter
How can you go undercover when you show your face on TV reporting it. The people he spoke to now know who he is and that he spied on them. Any future people he tries this on will likely be wise to his rouse, I don't get it.Nah..any other shows coming out in the future would have already been filmed and edited with his dramatic bullcrap reporting on it.Even if he brought out another season next year he will just use others to do the undercover work while he edits it and voices over....This current season of illegal NZ series will be all about him. Muzz
This would've been recorded and brought to the Cops etc attention a while ago. (Before Public Viewing)I'm sure you could give the guys involved a buzz and see if anything has happened to them.

Pseudonym
They should have tested the products. They made a big deal about the issues that can arise from black market gear that's incorrectly dosed or unsterile ("in a worst case scenario: DEATH!"). Then they didn't follow through. Granted 30mins is not long, but really... :disgusted:

Gasp
Granted 30mins is not long, but really... :disgusted:...not even 30 minutes. If you deduct the ad breaks every two minutes that left about 15 minutes of running time.Hardy gives an insight or suggests abuse is rampant.Although we saw he left the premisis prior to being injected we also saw his successful importation of his "book" from Thailand. Whether or not he surrendered these goods afterwards he has still technically committed an offence hasn`t he??
curtb
What a bizarre type of drug-use to pick, one that is essentially a productive and positive thing for many, helping them improve themselves. He chose this as opposed to the hundreds of abused narcotics which actually ruin peoples lives.

Bazza
I thought was sensationalism at its worst...the guy is obviously out to make a name for himself. Whilst its difficult to publicly condone the 'clinics' and the way that he was so easily able to circumvent the initial ' "nah ..we don't so that shit her man" response, let's hope as someone said earlier in thread that he focuses on P or some of the other drugs that are a greater scourge to society...but that may not be sensational enough. Android
I got a shock, I think that was [MOD EDIT] I saw as the guy in his house saying "I jab everyone".Any thoughts [MOD EDIT]?I'm only guessing it was you, was my initial gut-feeling that's all. Whether it was or not he came across as a tosser to me, a "roll call" wtf!..I "jab everyone" - yeah right. And the Test-E labels were pretty poor too, watered-down gear poured straight from a bladder on the kitchen table - hmmm give me some of that good stuff :^o - cynical overview of the show overSteroids are potentially bad for your body, never kid yourself about that. The good news is the body can recover in most cases. The guy on the show that was bleeding from the inside is probably living a normal life again off the gear for instance, I hope
J_iron
the thing is, we use gear. but we keep it to ourselves and we are not hurting the public, we also train hard and eat well. I personally think roid rage is all shit and if people do get it it maybe a slight placebo affect. we arn't going out robbing people, kidnapping cooks or shit like that to get our fix.all we are trying to do is better ourselves, we know the risks and we weigh these up when we decide to use. it would be different if we went crazy like p heads and started causing the bullshit that p causes. but we dont.Gear has such a bad rep and now bodybuilding is getting one, when really its one of the hardest and greatest sports there is.Guess we will never convince the average set in their ways jo blogs

Mr_Krabs
One of the big holes in the story was that at the start he tried to say something along the lines that "steroids were no longer just a part of professional bodybuilding but in all society" not word for word but something along those lines but he never backed this up he tried to make it sound like they were used by non-bodybuilders in a recreational sense?Terrible journalism. Android
AndroidWhy would u throw a name out in an open forum if ur not sure who it is? couldnt u keep that to yourself?Do you think it was inappropriate?Perhaps it was insensitive as he's just been on Primetime TV and the material was likely in the hands of the Police well before the show aired.Gee I was on TV for a few seconds (legit reason, not Police 7 or highway patrol LOL) last year and had family, workmates, and friends from years ago call me so he'll be fielding this off from friends and family for a week or two.In that sense maybe it was unkind, but even then only if you recognize the guy will it really matter. If that had been me on TV I am quite sure someone here would have said out loud, "Hey that was Android".So it seems your idea of what a public forum is for is different to what most would think. If you want to do secretive shady illegal things and not get caught then stay away from public places, pretty simple stuff really. He himself tells his clients to keep their steroid use to themselves and not tell their wives or family so he seems well aware of the concept of 'private/secretive' himself.public = hmmmmm...public!So imo not inappropriate but insensitive - valid point though auck_builder and my answer may not be the morally correct one, your point may well be. Pseudonym
Android, I've edited your post to remove the name. I agree with you that it was quite clear who this person was, but our forum rules prohibit any allegation of steroid use (and, implicitly, supply). I know you posted a username, not a real name, but I don't want allegations here either way - that's one minefield I don't need to get into! orange
It was a super short programme if you also subtract the time he took to tell you what happened before each ad break. I hate that.Agree with you Pseudonym. They should have tested the $280 purchase and the contents of the book from Thailand to see what he really got for his money. nicksmith3
Bodybuilding is already associated with steroid use.Now it is associated as a sport only criminals partake in.'Use' has been around for years, but that doesn't mean the sport has to be bagged the way it was. Even rugby has a huge amount of users. - Especially in league. No wonder the natural shows in America are growing bigger and bigger each year. At least the public can read about it and think 'hey, these guys are tested. Maybe they aren't criminals/freaks'I say bring Natural Bodybuilding here once there is finance and crediblity for it.
