it shoud only be about double i rekin.

so if i can squat 180kg for 8reps then u saying i should be doing about 360kg on the leg press for 8?.... no way man, if u can squat that then that leg press weight will be quite easy, 360kg aint even 10pps on the leg press.

i think ull fidn alot of ppl leg press are way stronger than squat, just the way it goes

yea just my theory, i based it on the fact that the leg press is a 45 degree push, therefore you are pressing half the gravity of a squat.

we have a large leg press machine in our gym so i have no idea how much weight is actually on there only the plates so ok sorry  what do you think is a better conversion?

45 degree on leg press does not translate to 50% reduction for squats from my experience. When I squatted 300kg for 1 rep I did 760kg for 6 on press so probably 800 for 1 max at that time. When my squat increased to 300 for a dozen reps my 2 leg leg press was 800 for similar and one leg was 400kg for 12s, so a bit more than 2.5x would be my call.

shit thats strong!!

umm yea the 320x11 was all full leg presses - knees back against the chest or however you would say.... had some hot chick watching when i got too about 6 reps so had a bit of a boost

and yes i am weak on squats but i think that might just be technique ??

did leg press because i had a sore back on the day but if i see some improvement in size/shape ill continue to do them.
