No haven't used them for lat pulldowns, I do use them for 1 arm rows when they get too heavy but didn't think of them for pulldowns, good thinking batman! :wink:

Have you tried them using lifting straps??

I find it a bit better and takes the strain off the forearms to

exactly what i was gonna say! ive got pussy little wrists, and my grip almost always gives out first. i use my single loop straps on my w/g pulls, am also planning to buy some versagripp rubber-flap-thingies to try, they are apparently the bizness!!

you pretty bloody strong, pork chop or not!!

Managed to f*ck someone off at the gym tonight saying his form was shite, "you are doing your lat raises and bending and swinging", he glarred at me and he said "well at least one of us is in shape", I laughed and he said I'm serious at least i'm in shape", meaning him, "geez I was only trying to help with your form" i said and he stormed off in a huff and left :shock: . My training partner was like what the :-s

Shoulders/Traps today

DB shoulder press 15kgsx10, 17.5kgsx10, 20kgsx10, 22.5kgsx10

Lat Raise 6kgs SS with front raise 6kgs, 7.5kgs/6kgsx10, 10kgs/6kgsx10

Seated bent over rear delts 6kgsx10 - 4 sets

Cable raise 1 pltx10, 2pltsx10 - 3 sets

Shrugs 22.5kgs dbs SS with upright rows 20kgsx10 - 4 sets

Went to do rear delt mach but it was broken

Learnt today I have to keep my mouth shut and leave people to their own crappy form.

As a rule of thumb, I dont care if others have bad form unless they are at substantial potential to injure themselves.

This one super hot chick at my gym got her squat form all over the place and I gave her a couple of easy pointers .....10 mins later her butch as partner comes by to pick her up.

Varven's gym pick up: FAIL.

totally off topic.

anyway, big gurl when you diet down for you next show make sure you stroll by the dude and give him a show of what you got !
