GIRLS how much do you lift?

Squat - 100kgx5, 115kgx1

Leg Press - Dunno :pfft: last time I did these I was doing 140kgx20 for my depletion workouts.

Curls - Hmmm, don't really max on these but regularly do 30lbsx8

DB Shoulder Press - same as curls, do 45lbsx8

Deadlift - 160kgx1

Bench - 85kgx1

5'8" and about 72kg

Squats are freaky awesome. And mean bench !! :clap:

Luigi, Sportsgirl's deads have always been insane! Just haven't kept up with how her squats and bench has been doin as of late. Seriously, the girl is a machine! (not to mention the fact that she's drop dead gorgeous to boot :o )

Luigi, Sportsgirl's deads have always been insane! Just haven't kept up with how her squats and bench has been doin as of late. Seriously, the girl is a machine! (not to mention the fact that she's drop dead gorgeous to boot :o )

jokes aside, you girls have got some serious strenght... so which one of you is breaking the 200kg barrier on deadlifts soon ????

Updating mine. Since then I've done:

Deadlift - 170kg x 1

Bench Press - 91kg x 1 \:D/

Deadlift - 170kg x 1

Bench Press - 91kg x 1 \:D/

Update

90kg bench (2008) for 3 reps/80kgs for 10

35kgs db press for 4 reps/30kgs for 10 (2009)

110kg squat for 10 reps (2008)

90kg 1 legged leg press for 8 (2009)

110kg deadlifts for 8 (2008) - 130kg at PL comp Dec 08

55kgs Mil Press for 10 (2008)

22.5kg db shoulder press for 10 (2009)

15kg db curls for 10 (2009)

30kg 1 arm db row for 10 (2009)

500kgs leg press for 3 (back in 2001) don't really do leg press atm. Big roid boys were on it and I jumped on just for shits and giggles, they said get off you loonatic!! so I pumped out as many as I could just to show them I could move it. I wouldn't dare try this now for fear of an injury.

Goals in next few weeks is to improve on above weights.

New to sport 5months in , Wow serious lifts ladies great blog for inspiration.

Deads- 80kg x 8

squat- 70kg x 8

press- 160kg x8

bench- 40kg x8

curl- 12.5 x 8

Its all in the diet, eat clean, lift mean.

age, weight, height?

in what sport - bodybuilding or powerlifiting

press as in press what?

Squats are going from a standing position to a squatting position, it can be done with a barbell, dumbells or without weight. The legpress is a machine which you sit on and push with your legs. Both exercises work the quads, hams and glutes to an extent, however because squats often involve resting a weighted barbell on your back when doing squats it also strengthens the muscles which support your spine. Squats are alot harder than the legpress because they involve more balance and technique to perform.
