Used the new get strength bench today

Thing is amazing. Me and mate both hit decent pbs. Mine was a 10kg pb!. Pause on last on could have been longer for comp. 

3 weeks out from bench monsters and things are looking good!

Things are voming together. Quad/knee was a bit tight after the fronts. Will roll it out. Really need to assess the next couple of weeks on bench and work out attempts. AI am thinking of opening at 135 and going 140 on second. We will see

Just up to rough opener was thinking of a bit more, but ill play things safe. Been feeling crappy last couple days, hopefully i can bounce back by Saturday. Need to make sure my ass stays down also.

Did Bench only yesterday

137.5 good

145 good

150 miss

 

Lost tightness on the 150. let it sink too much and tried to heave it up too much, then my back seized up and couldnt get off the bench. Its all good now. just lock/cramped up

Overall pretty happy, 145 is still a 12.5kg comp pb

High bar was mud today. Done a 60+ hour week and it showed today. Recovery and mobility needs work. Kept dumping foward out of the hole. The rounding was real Sqeaked out a tripple which matched last week's pb. Im not really suited that well to high bar in heels tbh and my form can go to shit. Still waiting for a new ssb otherwise I'd be using that

Have got a new training partner, she previously competed in powerlifting in the eqquiped days. Quite cool to be  able to coach/ push someone. She's looking to make a comeback and I think she could dominate with some time under the bar
