Great session. Cant squat right now as just got tattoo piece on shoulder. Happy with bench. Deadlifts were moving at a rate of knots on warm ups. 140 went 0-100 real quick. its at that weight if i know im on the right track. real snappy and fast, just need to adapt to that hook grip again. 6 weeks out from comp this today. time go push things!

I don't think I will register this year either. Prefer just doing novice meets for fun as im not to competitive at this point

Na, no wraps at this point. I think they gay. But I think they have a squat comp later in the year I might try with them. Maybe

Was bit of a off session, squats felt light on the back, but not really in the right groove, stance too narrow. was squatting with my heel/high bar stance. but in flats. could have got another rep or two, but it was a bit ugly so left it alone. Bench was much the same. matched my best at 130, but wanted a third. messed the second rep up as the first felt easyish. I think the high freq squatting is catching up recovery wise, i may wind the freq back a little with comp prep, as i do need to recover from the heavy stuff. Goal for this meet prep is to squat 200 for at least a double. Will probably push the weight slowly up as i get closer. I feel as though i need to get specific to low bar again as ive been doing alot of variations. strength is def there tho

That was enough for today. might take a mini deload (3 days rest) then crank into this short meet prep monday. Squats are feeling good. moved my j hooks down one, was able to get my back way toighter and my walkout was better, and kept my knees out nicely. I think the best ive done in the past was 4. last rep was a fight.

Pretty happy with squats, not as tight as i wanted and could get stance/ knees wider. but in terms of weight moved was ok. slight grind at 200, but was always there. Really thought about a second rep but my left erector is tight and that was the main reason i kept the deads light. Im thinking a double at 200 MAY be there if i just hit a single at 190

Got it! Back was tight as fk from yesterday, but i just couldnt let this go. warm ups were a mess, almost lost the 190 rep. pulled it out on the top set though. second rep was probably high. Elbows fucked so left it there. wont be doing any low bar after thursday for a few days as im getting my tattoo finished. probebly a good thing the way my elbow feels
