  • Squat: High Bar, Heels repeat of last weeks session depth improving and also the speed. set up better than last week as it was a bit rushed
     
  • Press: Comp Bench repeat of last week slightly better on the speed still need to work a bit more on my setup, just rushed it a bit.
     
  • Pull: Conventional Deadlift this was the third time I have done them and it felt better. Speed was good so had a shot at 160kgs which is what I am currently doing in Sumo. 
    Results were interesting average m/s for 
    Sumo was .28333 
    Conv was .30666 
    ROM
    Sumo was 486.333mm
    Conv was 531.333 

    Conventional had the longer ROM but speed was faster:dunno:

     
  • Notes: End of the 12th week and a good day with some interesting data to process and watch over the next few weeks. A good session today pleased.

  • Squat: High Bar, Heels changed to 3s as I figured a deload would be on the cards. Seems I was right for today anyway hit mid 4s :lifter: average m/s 0.4566, last week 0.5225
     
  • Press: Comp Bench same as last week speed was down a bit from last week. Last week average was m/s 0.3525 this week 0.3666 a lot faster than I was expecting but only 3 reps.
     
  • Pull: Sumo Deadlift Speed singles 8th week doing these. Average speed last week was m/s 0.5016 this week was 0.4233 well down.
     
  • Notes: Not overly happy with the speed of the Squat and Pull these were down quite a bit on last week and considering this was my lightish day. Bench stayed in the right area but after thinking that I have been training for about 12 weeks that I need a deload. So this week and next week I am
    going to button down do a semi Sports Form day and have a deload after that. Might have come at the right time.

  • Notes: Not overly happy with the speed of all the lifts but I am aware that a deload is due. I plan to take it next week after the CD Champs and my sports form day which may or may not be the best choice.   • Squat: High Bar, Heels pretty pleased with 180 was hoping for a double but I think the 20kg jump was a bit to much, speed was good depth may have been border line.
     
  • Press: Comp Bench happy to hit a 100kgs but the speed of 0.15 m/s is the slowest I have ever done but none the less 2 plates is 2 plates.
     
  • Pull: Sumo/ Conventional here comes the dumber parts of the day did Sumo to 180 which like the bench was pretty slow for my standards 0.15 m/s Deadlift. Then went to Conventional hoping for good thinhs here but nah 170 eas good but 2 shots at 180 both did not even leave the floor:dunno: :laughing:
     
  • Notes: A good day hit where I thought I would be, should have picked one deadlift to go with not do 4 lifts lol.

  • Pull: Sumo Deadlift Briefs, here is where it got tricky it will take a while to get the line right in the briefs so just went to 150kgs and no drops.
     
  • Notes: Start of the 1st week and it is like learning to train all over again, bit unstable in the heels so will go back to my Metals bench the same and the Pull was the worst. This cycle is called Transition from RAW to Equipped.

  • Squat: Low Bar/Flats 2nd day Equipped and a better session on squats. Went back to my Flats/Metals and this made a difference to Mondays session. Still work to be done on the line and movement patterns but happy with today's squats, did 2 top sets with no drops.
     
  • Press: Comp Bench no shirt just the SlingShot same as Squats did 2 top sets. Line and speed were more consistent and later I may need to change the S/S as I get 40kgs to touch :dunno:
     
  • Pull: Sumo Deadlift Briefs, this was a big improvement on Monday's session found a good hole and position for the belt. Made the session more enjoyable still need move some kilos from the front so the belt sits better.
     
  • Notes: Over all a much better session in the equipment like I said a long way to go but a big improvement on Monday's workout.

    for 2 top sets. Lot better than Mondays session still a little while to go before I settle into Equipped.

     
  • Press: Comp Bench SlingShot again went to 90kgs and did 2 sets speed was bang on. 
     
  • Pull: Conventional Deadlift softsuit, first 2 sets hips were high 3rd set dropped them down slightly felt different, even with the lower hip position the ROM was intriguing. 130kgs high hip 551, 538, 543, 150kgs lower hip 521, 538, 538. going to keep at the lower hip for a few weeks probably need to video to compare.
     
  • Notes: End of the first week equipped and overall a good week a few things to work on and to get use too but progress. Good to be back in my metals.

  • Squat: Low Bar Flats Primary day briefs, today was a better day than last week. Finding the line a bit better not where I would like it but a big improvement on the first day last week.
     
  • Press: Comp Bench SlingShot better performance this week speed dropped off some what but still up on last week. 
     
  • Pull: Sumo Deadlift Briefs, last week was pretty tough this week was better loosened the belt and extra notch seems to have made a difference. Speeed was up so just did an extra top set for today.
     
  • Notes: Start of the 2nd week and a big improvement on last weeks inaugural session. Getting better lines than last week for all lifts still early days but I seem to be on track.

  • Squat: Low Bar/Flats 6th day in briefs and in my Metals went to 175 for 1 top set and a 170 drop set. Speed was quicker so went up to 175 contemplated 180 but 175 was a better move.
     
  • Press: Comp Bench SlingShot again went to 100kgs as the speed was far better than last week did a drop to 75 which was faster than last weeks 95 top set
     
  • Pull: Conventional Deadlift softsuit, working on a lower hip position taking a little while so just kept it at 150kgs till I get it sorted and the speed picks up.
     
  • Notes: End of the second week equipped and overall a good week a still a few things to work on progress is steady. Good to be back in my metals.

  • Squat: Low Bar Flats Primary day briefs, good session today. Finding the line a bit more often and still able to adjust to not so good reps. 1st top set was not as good as I hoped so a better effort at the same weigh instead of a drop set.
     
  • Press: Comp Bench SlingShot same as Squats did 2 top sets and a better effort on the 2nd top set. 
     
  • Pull: Sumo Deadlift Briefs, for reason did not attach for 110kgs but no issues, same as last week 2 top sets speed indicates a 10kg rise may look at that next week.
     
  • Notes: Start of the 3rd week and staring to get a better feel for the lines and where my strength is at the moment. Maybe 1 more week straps down for Squats and Deads and the 2XL SlingShot. Speed indicates that is still a bit of movement on the weights for all 3 disciplines

  • Squat: Low Bar/Flats 3rd week Equipped and a more consistent speed over both top sets. Worked hard to keep all reps pretty close to each other.
     
  • Press: Comp Bench SlingShot same as Squats did 2 top sets. Line and speed were more consistent faded last week in both sets, but better today.
     
  • Pull: Sumo Deadlift Briefs, belt position right and tension on the bar at the start makes for a better session. Today there were all pretty consistent no leaps on certain reps so happy with this. Average this week was 0.4233 last week was 0.4366 just a little down.
     
  • Notes: Over all a really good session over all the lifts will stay another week with straps down, as I try to get more consistent numbers on the speed.

  • Squat: Low Bar/Flats 9th day in briefs and in my Metals went to 175 for 2 sets did 170 drop last week. Speed was more consistent so did 2 top sets.
     
  • Press: Comp Bench SlingShot again went to 100kgs as the speed was ok at 90 but was starting to fade drop set was the same tough.
     
  • Pull: Conventional Deadlift softsuit, working on a lower hip position taking a little while so just kept it at 150kgs. Even with the dodgy elbow this was a good improvement on last week.
     
  • Notes: End of the third week equipped and overall a good week even training with an injury today progress is steady. Good to be back lifting proper. Injury put a damper on the training but came through ok

Notes:

 

  • Squat: Primary Day briefs, Low Bar Flats semi good session today. Just a bit over the place never really settled in to the squats till the top set. Line was good but just belt and rushed a couple of reps, still a bit conscious out the elbow. But after all that hit 190 for a good top set so pleased with that outcome.
     
  • Press: Comp Bench SlingShot a bit like the Squats took a while to settle in. 1st top set to far back so hit the racks, was going to stop but decided to do it again, a better effort on the 2nd top set. 
     
  • Pull: Sumo Deadlift Briefs, by this time I thought that the deads would come right, come to 130 and the speed was a good point behind last week. I was deciding whether to go up made the choice and the speed was the same as last week so tidied up and did another set just to finish on a high.
     
  • Notes: Start of the 4th week and like above not the most productive day that I was expecting but days like this happen. Overall it ended up pretty good with some minor gains to round out the workout. Tennis Elbow was a limiting factor today but I now know that I can train pretty good around it.

  • Squat: Low Bar/Flats 4th week Equipped a bit all over the place today. Could not settle into a good rhythm for each set toppled forward on the 3rd rep 1st top set recovered but put the 4th rep out. Did not reset novice error.

  • Pull: Sumo Deadlift Briefs, belt position right and tension on the bar at the start makes for a better session. Today they were all pretty consistent except for the middle rep. Average this week was 0.4333 last week was 0.4233 just up a little.
     
  • Notes: Over all a session done but except for Deads reps were not as fluid as they should have been.

  • Pull: Conventional Deadlift softsuit, working on a lower hip position today was better and speeds were good so went to 160kgs still good speed.

  • Squat: Primary Day Straps Up, Low Bar Flats first session block 2. Did 2 sets at 120 just to dial things in a bit better. Line was good for the first time with straps up. Speed at 195 was pretty good maybe could have gone to 200 next week.
     
  • Press: Comp Bench SlingShot down to the XL not as good as I thought as compared to the 2XL. Went to a 100 for 2 top sets. 
     
  • Pull: Sumo Deadlift straps up, feels better with straps up maybe 2 weeks then the line will be good. Went to 170 speed was good high 2s.
     
  • Notes: Start of Block 2 straps up for this next block will be working on getting the line right and moving the weight 10-15%. Good hit out for the first day. Have a better understanding next week.
