  • Squat: 200kgs for a triple, but in the 44 1st set banged the hooks really threw me out so had to resettle. Not as good as I wanted so did the 200 again this was a bit better no drop set. 
     
  • Press: Bench Press Comp Grip went to 110kgs up 5kgs from last week and no drop sets. Only managed a double these were a bit tough.
     
  • Pull: Sumo last week was 170kgs this week put the suit on and see where I could be. Went to 170kgs a little bit faster but again will see how next week goes.
     
  • The plan for today was to into the tighter gear, I have been in the 46 Centurion, so time to get into the 44. Same as the Bench and Deadlift just wanted to see where I was. Session was ok could have been better but it was the first day so surprises or expectations.

  • Squat: 185kgs for a triple, same as last week speed was a little bit better on the second rep. 
     
  • Press: Bench Press Comp Grip went to 100kgs and a drop set to 95kgs. This week speed was slightly faster on the first rep but a bit slower on the next 2.
     
  • Pull: Conventional 3rd week of this. Came to 150 triple average speed was .4 as compared to last week average was .406 so I did another set at 150kgs. 
     
  • Better Friday than last week good improvement and speed was back up to where i would like it. Rest up this weekend and see what Monday brings to the table.

  • Squat: 200kgs for a triple, tough day today, 180s were on track but the 200 just dropped like a sinker in the speed department. Was looking at going up to 210kgs+ but after the slow 200 decided to drop to 190kgs. Bit too much carb loading on the weekend.:situp:
     
  • Press: Bench Press Comp Grip tried the 52 Super Kat Up a size from my old SK 50 could not even touch with the 110kgs so this will be put away till I am a lot stronger.
     
  • Pull: Sumo last week was 170kgs same as this week with the suit on. Average speed was a lot slower as compared to last week. Again like the squats Crabonatored.
     
  • The plan for today was to again get into the tighter gear, in the 44. Same as the Bench and Deadlift just wanted to see where I was. Session was ok could have been better it was the secondt day so surprises or expectations.

  • Today was one of the worst training days I have had for many a year. Combination of a few things lead to this spent the weekend chopping down and cutting up a reasonable sized Karaka. Also stayed up till 4.30am Sunday morning watching Tash then back in for Church at 9.00am and back onto the tree till 6.00pm.:dunno: :veryold:

  • The plan for today was to hopefully get some order back into my lifting, but once again hard work on the weekend the comp and the tree took its toll. I was looking at changing my Church day to Friday as work around the house is affecting the Monday sessions but will see what happens next week and make a decision.

Been a while between posting this is the reason


Health Update Final lol; 23/9/2016 I had an operation an Ulna Osteotomy and Plate insertion, they cut 6mm out of my Ulna to shorten it and put a plate in. This was due to the fracture of the radius last year which had crushed my Radius. This was the simpler of the 2 operations as the other involved cutting the Radius spreading it and taking bone from hip and packing it in the gap (no way). The Ulna Osteotomy is by far stronger of the two, and should be ok to start lifting again in 6-8 weeks all going well. They did a pretty good job of lining up the Tattoo which was the main concern ha ha. Should have done the other side, given me a shorter range of motion for the Bench Press. I had Kurt and his partner Alana change the dressing a week after the op thanks guys much appreciated.

  • Had my X Ray today after the operation where they cut 6mm from my Ulna, the special;ist gave me clearance to start lifting again. A milestone day today finally after 17 weeks I got to Squat Press and Pull, been too long away from the big 3.

  • Press: Comp Bench again another surprise with getting to 60kgs.
     
  • Pull: Sumo Deadlift not all surprised here with the 120 thought there was more but not today.

  • Press: Comp Bench same as with the Squats did the same but it was 5kgs.
     
  • Pull: Sumo Deadlift just did 3 top sets @ 110kgs did not go to 120 speed not there today.
     
  • Notes: 2nd week of 5 days training, so pretty well kept the weights the same. Fatigue sets and did as may as I could with what I would call good form. I will move away from as many reps stuff and I will make the drops smaller :eureka:

  • Squat: High Bar, Heels did the same as last week but added 10kgs to the a top set and added in a drop set. 
     
  • Press: Comp Bench same as with the Squats did the same but it was 5kgs.
     
  • Pull: Sumo Deadlift moved it up to 130kgs and a drop of 120kgs feeling a little bit better here.
     
  • Notes: Start of the 3rd week and tidy session all round. I will start the tendo next week, just to keep an eye on my speed, as the mind wants to increase the weight before the body is ready. Fatigue sets are a lot better and shortening the % to see where I am at with the drops.
