Pseudonym
Hmm. Think I'll stick to my cricket protein, thanks! Also, I wonder how much of the protein in sewage is related to our diet? If we stopped eating meat, would the sewage protein levels drop?
Skeletor
Not very appealing is it. Can't see it ever taking off if they can only at best cost it at the same price as real meat. Maybee something for the future but I do wonder how it says the average poo mud contains 60% protein , that surely must be dependent on the person it came froms diet ? So it could vary greatly couldn't it? Say a strict vegetarian following a low protein diet wouldn't have the same protein levels in their poo. Pseudonym
That's what I mean. Let's say we all became faecetarians (not a real word, but it ought to be). The poo cycle of extracting protein, eating protein, excreting protein, then extracting it all over again... that's going to cause a diminishing amount of protein in circulation as our bodies absorb what they need. More withdrawals than deposits, if you like. Nah... it's a crap idea. Skeletor and Georg
