Diet coke cup cakes

Recommended Posts

Came across this interesting recipe on Instagram this morning called diet coke cup cakes . Thought I post it up on hear . From what I make of it sounds tasty and nice. The recipe for it is pretty easy and basic with pretty good macros as well . All you need is cup cake mix and one can of diet coke by mixing the diet coke and cupcake mix together .macros are

114 calories

1g fat

25g carbs

1.4g of protein

Going to give it a try sometime when I do have a cheat day

So it's just cupcake mix, mixed with diet coke instead of water?

Why would you eat this kind of food and be concerned with the macro nutrient make up or it. Smh.

Regardless of the Macros its shit food no matter what the macros say. 25g of carbs from cupcake mix is worthless.

Pretty much so the diet coke replaces the water

Personally, id use regular coke as its taste better and ive heard diet coke gives you cancer which can make you skinny and lose hair. Its just what i heard- i think its something to do with the asparagus they use in the diet coke which causes it rather than the sugar bamboo used in regular coke.

What the hell haha whats going to happen to the diet coke when you cook it in the oven at 180 or whatever? I've seen a video of a guy boiling coke or pepsi and it turns into black scum on the pan... +1 amen for jesus

What's the point of this lol.

Water has no calories anyway so not like your making it diet friendly or anything.

If I'm allowed cup cakes, I'm guna have a god dam cupcake, not some Bibby Recipe Cup Cake that'll probably give me a stroke.

I'm almost glad I didn't get to smell what the Rat was cooking lol.

The rat was cooking a mince sardine baked beans oyster and bacon burger and a coke zero cake for desert.

Well, people do add beer or lemonade to bread and scones to help them rise. Theoretically the carbonation helps make them lighter and fluffier.

But you'd need to take the sweetness into account too. Unless the packet cupcake mix was designed to have a soft drink added to it, it's already made with enough sugar to make it the right level of sweetness. Adding more sweetness on top of that? Yurgh.

Also, I'm not sure how well those artificial sweeteners stand up to heat. When protein powders turn to shit in the microwave, isn't that often due to the sweetener?

No... just no.

Since you mentioned tomatoes, I had tomatoes with a beef salad for dinner and every mouthful was very nice.

Since you mentioned beef, I had steak at a BBQ for dinner last night. It was very nice every time I put a piece in my mouth and chewed.

It was nice to be with normal people too even though I couldn't eat their normal people food like hash browns and ice cream.

Since you mentioned ice cream and hash browns, I mixed both in a bucket for my cheat day while watching nabba 2015 on my tv. The whole world could smell what I was cooking.
