Skeletor Posted October 7, 2015 Report Share Posted October 7, 2015 On the subject of speed reps how is one supposed to perform the following excercises. 1 . Speed bench... Are you supposed to pause on the chest and power it up from a dead stop? Because i see guys on the net both touch n go for 3 reps flat out AND pausing each rep. Wouldnt pausing each rep be the correct way? 2. Speed squat ... Should you be doing a pause squat and exploding up or using the bounce generated from the dropping down? 3 . Surely from a dead stop each rep? Just curious because i always thought speed work was based on exploding from a dead stop using a lighter weight .
