Emma21
Hey guys, I'm just new to this forum and new to Christchurch actually and looking for some help. I have been training for years and have had a number of pts but it's always been a goal of mine to compete but I hadn't had the correct motivation until now. Can anyone recommend a pt specialised in this area that is local to get to in Christchurch. 25 yearold, current weight 63.3 kg, Thanks guys
Pseudonym
Hey Emma, welcome! First question... what are you wanting to compete in? I'm guessing bodybuilding, but we're getting increasing numbers of powerlifting chicks here now too, so I figured we should check before we send you to the wrong place. And if it is bodybuilding, what class do you think you'd do?
Realtalk
Firstly, welcome to the forum. Secondly, I am friends with this girl, I enjoy listening to what she has to say about fitness related subjects and often agree with alot of it and I would reccomend her. Not because we are friends, I'm friends with lots of people but I don't reccomend many. She no BS and gets lots of girls on stage which you say is your goal. https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=636702672contact her through FB. soundsgood
The awesome thing about Nuria is she does both Bodybuilding and Powerlifting and she encourages her clients to give both a shot. Recommend x
BeastBuilder
X3Would be hard pressed to find a female bodybuilding coach in Chch with more experience. She trains people out of Fitness Canterbury, where a few of us train. Come down sometime and check it out.Good luck and you're in the right place !
BeastBuilder
Also forgot to say but if you don't mind not having a female trainer, Shane Elsey is a good option as well.I personally see him for nutrition and have a separate coach for Powerlifting. But in terms of conditioning and physique he has helped me tremendously.Relatively old school bodybuilding approach, but with his own take on things. Very easy to follow diet plans, options given for different meals etc.He is an ex Mr Asia Pacific and also a Nabba/Wff judge so he is knowledgeable in the sense of posing, stage presence etc needed for competition time.Just another option to look into. I can vouch for his guidance and results Emma21
Emma21
Thankyou so much guys. Such great help and il certainly take your options into consideration. I'm eager to try new gyms but I just can't seem to find one with a stair master machine. It's my favourite machine to do cardio and my only reall motivation.
