Right now im reading a book im sure many of you have looked through called 'Arnold Schwarzenegger encyclopedia of modern bodybuilding' and also Eddie Bravo Jiu-jitsu unleashed. I also have golds gym book of body building which is awesome! other than that I don't read... if you get into fighting, Fight quest on youtube man I just started watching the series. its good stuff. Pseudonym Posted May 31, 2015 Report Share Posted May 31, 2015 It's not exactly a sports biography (well, not at all, really...) but you should definitely read Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage by Alfred Lansing. In 1914, Shackleton tries to cross Antarctica, but his ship gets caught and crushed by the pack ice in the Weddell Sea leaving 28 men stranded on the ice floes, which later start to break apart. It took nearly two years (and two Antarctic winters) but eventually Shackleton got them all to safety. It's an unbelievable story. Then kind of looses his mind and becomes Austrlias most wanted man as he commits crimes to fund raise for wepons to send to them.
