crazyfacials
Once upon a time I would be like "YEAH I LOVE THIS STUFF" but now it's like "f*ck....NOT THIS AGAIN" So what are some great herbs/spices you folks use or cooking methods to make it taste good? maccaz
for broccoli i stopped just steaming it and half steam it then fry it real high with tiny bit of oil spray, salt, pepper, gets kind of crunchy bits at least good for a change in any case its not meant to taste nice haha
Spacebound
cheese sauce.....if you got the macros. Pseudonym

GyzzBrah
Yeah idk about cauli but just take frozen or fresh brocolli and microwave with a splash of water and add a bit of olive oil, salt, pepper and chopped garlic and put it in a salad. f*ck sugar based salad dressings. This goes down a treat.
Sandif
Cauliflower mash... Almost as good as mashed potatoes! For broccoli, try steaming it in the microwave with a bit of oyster sauce or lea and Perrins sauce.....
crazyfacials
These are all good ideas cheers, no cheesesauce for a while Space :/ I used to mash the broccoli (well I'd steam it and put it in my magic bullet knock off) went well currently using spicy Cajun spices on it and it's good but change is always good
nelly bunton
Went to a burger place in Auckland a few weeks ago, maybe burger burger? They had an amazing broccoli side which from memory was just almond slices and garlic butter, done in a pan. So good and i'm not really a fan of brocolli
Pseudonym
Steamed cauliflower is amazing with a fillet of smoked salmon. One's pretty bland, and one's pretty rich, so they balance each other perfectly. Even better if you add a bit of zing from capers (gherkin, etc, would do the same job)
GyzzBrah
For cauli theres an indian thing where you fry it in oil with potatoes and put some tumeric and chilli powder and these seeds.

GyzzBrah
Unrelated to broccoli, but I finally figured how to eat plain oats - cover them in apple sauce. Nice hot vs cold feeling. lynx

M.T
I get a couple of them $2 bags of coli and broc from the frozen section (typically Countdown) Don't defrost just straight into nuker and it's nice as hell. Every day for months that's my veg with a roast meat and kumie for lunch. Snap frozen like that it tastes so damn nice and fresh, has all the good crap locked in, and super simple and quick. How much you talking you'd have in a week?
