yeelang
Which one do people prefer? more expensive luxury branded supplements which usually contain a vast array of ingredients for a specific purpose. or individual ingredients which are usually much cheaper, but more voluminous and time consuming. curious to hear peoples opinions about the supplement industry, their supplement stacks + cost. I take Creatine monohydrate, citrulline malate [pre], phosphasidic acid, Fish Oils and a Multivitamin.
bambam
Individual ingredients most defiantly. Leucine, Casein Hydrolysate, Creatine Mono, L-Carnitine. Less added shite in them, Can control dose, Cheaper
Skeletor
I currently use whey isolate x 2- 3 serves a day , aminos x 2-4 serves a day, multivitamin x 1, flax seed oils, and glucosamine. Its just easier for me to use pre made as I get it cheaper through a mate and always out on jobs.
Kalidane
iherb 'Now' for multi and whatever else I pretend I'm going to actually use. Locally made WPC. Turkish place around the corner for the chicken on rice. I suspect cit-mal is the ingredient in PWO supps that my stomach really doesn't like (SuperPump for example) so he's out. Leucine seems to be worthwhile but I cbf and it prolly doesn't make a material difference unless you're already on point with training/nutrition/rest anyways. If I were an oil Sheikh I would always have Scivation Extend because it tastes good and aminos aren't detrimental. Powerade more useful though. Electrolytes - it's what plants crave. Pseudonym
Ooh, so this is what a poll looks like, is it? I hadn't tested it - but it's pretty clean and tidy. Nice! The question's good too, of course, Yeelang. I tend to go for the basic stuff, but the exception is the multi. It's a hassle to make your own, and it's the kind of supp that dodgy brands can definitely use cheaper ingredients, so I bite the bullet and pay for a ON's Optimen multi.
