Imadeapoopsie
it gives me pain in my feet while squatting, lowers my strength while squatting and sole feels too narrow(which is funny because i think i took a size too big so its too long but to thin width wise at the same time lol) or is it that i jsut need to get used to it
Pseudonym
Bump! Can any of our powerlifters answer this?IMAP, I suspect the answer is that weightlifting shoes are supposed to be a bit uncomfortable - the idea is they prevent any movement to give you a more stable base. But obviously if it's so tight that the pain lowers your strength, then there's something wrong.Hopefully we'll get a better qualified opinion than mine though. Destamoon
What type of wei rui's are they? I was going to get some warriors but they ran out of stock. Apparently they're making a new model and releasing it sometime in November

teamfatboy
BLUF - if you can't wear them, sell them. You shouldn't be getting pain "in the feet" with them - sore quads, hams, whatever, but not "in the feet". I bought some Adidas lifting shoes with a heel, and there's minor discomfort but not enough to stop me using them. In your case, if they're unbearably tight across the in-step (widest part of the foot, base of the laces, a good shoe repair shop might be able to stretch them. FWIW it sounds like feet are too wide... a lot of Kiwis have wider feet than e.g. North Americans..... and some shoes are generally cut narrower...I've never found a pair of regular-width Nikes I could live with.
