Supplement Advice

Hi everyone,

I've just completed my first month of P90X and have noticed a huge difference and am really happy with my results thus far (no supplements).

For the next 2 months I really want to push myself and work harder, and gain more. So I have decided that I'd like to spend a bit of money and get myself some supplements.

I'm currently searching on shotgun, and have come across two package deals that I think would be great for me. Though am struggling to decide which one to go for;

Both packages are fairly similar, but I am seeking advice from experienced people who know about these things and can point me in the right direction.

Personally I don't think you should bother with the glutamine, just a waste of money in my opinion.

If I was you I'd defiantly get some Whey and also some Creatine. A pre workout supplement could as help to give you energy and increased pump during workout if you find that necessary, but they come down to personal preference.

Agree with dropping the glutamine...no real evidence that it improves recovery.

Thanks for the help/recommendations so far, it's much appreciated.

After reading the recommendations of getting a pre-workout, I came across another package deal on shotgun which includes one of the best pre-workout formulas on the market in NZ at the moment (from the looks of things) and has been highly recommended from a lot of users;

So I will definitely be going for this package. Have also got myself some multi-vitamins (centrum for men) and some standard fish-oil from the pharmacy.
