simon007 Posted July 23, 2012 Report Share Posted July 23, 2012 Hey all, love the forum, first time poster here.Basically I went into Davis trading today, because i heard thats the place to go to get some good quality, ultra cheap whey.Went in, asked the old lady behind the counter, she typed on her computer, said yes, we have some in the depot, was ether a 20 or a 25kg bag, i forget what she said, and she told me the price, I wanted to ask her a question but she was a old lady and i thought, hmmm, no point asking her.But my question is "How the hell did she know which one i wanted?"My online search of their stocks showed -WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE 34% BAG 25KG -WPC WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE 80% PROTEIN BAG 25KG-WHEYPA SWEET WHEY POWDER AUSTRALIAN (621 SUB) NON HYGROSCOPIC BAG 25KG - WHEYP132 ALACEN 132 WHEY POWDER BAG 25kgand i cannot see the one people refer to when purchasing from Davis Trading?Im thinking its ether the 80% one or the Alacen 132 one?one other thing, while i was watching her type on her computer, the one that come up on screen had 70% (i assume thats the protein content?)-so ether i was looking at things i dont under stand or they have changed their product slightly?can anyone who knows lead me in the right direction? a 20kg bag of protein makes me giggle!! The 70% stuff you saw onscreen could well have been Milk Protein Concentrate (MPC70) which I guess you'd describe as an intermediate product - used in the manufacturing of other stuff, mainly cheese products.I've no idea what the other 3 listed products are sorry.
