New to this forum but saw a mate posted a log on here and got some good feedback so i thought why not..

Little bit about myself: I am originally a volleyball player and got into weightlifting start of 2011 to improve my vertical jump (it did) and I have been hooked ever since

All my posts will be mainly weightlifting while I am building up to NZ nationals in October

Pb's are: -94kgbw

Snatch: 95kg

Clean and Jerk: 123kg (125 clean)

Front squat: 135kg

power snatch from high blocks(above knee): work up to 65x2x2 70x2x2 75x2x2

snatch high pulls from high blocks: 80x4x1 87.5x3x1 92.5x3x1 97.5x2x2

front squat: 60x5x2 80x5x2 90x3x2 - recovering from back injury

good sharp session. rested today then going to snatch a big pb on tmrw!!

pwr snatch: barx1 40x3x2 50x3x1 60x2x1 70x1x1 75x1x1 80x1x1 85x1x1(no straps pb) 90x1x1(just under power :( so close, i had to watch the vid like 50time, grrr)

pwr clean and jerk: 60x3x2 80x2x1 90x2x1 100x1x1 107.5x1x1 112.5x1x1 115x1x1

good session, wasnt allowed to go any higher than that but relatively happy. wanted the 90 power snatch but algud still stood up with it, its the most iv done since feb.... 100 soon....soon

115 pwr clean was easy, jerk even easier

hamstring curl: 125x6x3

back extension: bwx10x3

good session. thumbs are starting to play up on the heavy sets with hook grip so had to put straps on -.-

‎25.5.12 - one dark day

jerk off of the box: 50x3x2 60x2x2 70x2x1 80x2x1 90x2x1 95x1x2

power clean + power clean and push press: 50x2x2 70x2x2 80x1x1 90x1x1 100x1x2 105x1x2(missed presses) 100x1 105x1(missed press)

power clean and push press: 110x1x2(missed presses, one was very very close) 105x1x2(missed presses) - slightly blacked out at the top of the last one so left it there

clean pulls: 110x4x1 120x3x3

pendlay rows: 70x5x3

cleans felt very very solid. wanted to real challenge my overhead today, even though there a lot of misses i think it was good. bit of fun. goodluck to the boys competing tmrw aswel. i will see you there

power snatch/c&j felt pretty average today, was slow..

first time trying weight belt squats, they are supposed to put no pressure on low back and hips. they felt really good but was awkward to set up.

first time squatting 100+ since feb. felt good and pretty easy

full c&j: 50x2x3

today was the first time iv pushed the weight belt squats, got big pump in my legs and glutes so by the time i got to front squats the quads were feeling it. mean session though. full classic lifts felt sweet as.
