BIGKIWI
bahahaha you gotta wonder strangely enough at that time that is what I was taking prop 100mg eod and clen. Christ that was 13 years ago there was no human gear no hgh no peptides etc that we could get anyway. Vet grade gear the bladder stuff and clen thats about it. Obviously as time goes on and you can get human gear or insulin or hgh your dosages go up. You try and put a shitload of vet prop in anywhere you will def know about. When it comes down to it you trial those things and see if they work and then you find as I did that going higher isn't necessarily better so you drop back down and get better gains

It's easier for guys to to think the difference between them and you is a secret concoction of magical drugs at super high doses than to admit to themselves that they can take what they like and they just aren't ever going to get there. M.T
JUSTIN RHYSOne of our most well known Nr NZ title holders is Justin 'Bigkiwi' Rhys.He was a teenage Mr NZ and returned in 1999 to win the overall title of NZFBB Mr NZ at a very young age of 21 (Maybe the youngest ever winner)I have followed Justin's progress from the beginning and he always turned heads at comps but I’ll always remember at the Wellington’s Strongest arm comp even Flex Wheeler took a double take.(Flex was guest posing that night a week after his Arnold Classic win) To be fair Justin’s shoulders and calves were sticking out half a mile. Here are some pics I took at the 99 NatsSweet Jeesus Bigkiwi @ 21 you freak  awesome man inspiring even. One of the nicest guys I have ever known, still a big man now at close to 50 and still squats 5plates a side just cos he can.

cezare
All good mate. I'm enjoying it but most of all I think it's important we have an honours board of our national champions. You guys who can call yourselves Mr NZ are forever in the NZ bodybuilding history books. No one can ever take that away from you.You have done what many more are aspiring to achieve and deserve the recognition.
cezare
NATHAN O'HEARNNathan O’Hearn is the most recent winner and a 2 time Mr NZ title holder. He has won both the NABBA 2008 and NZIFBB 2011 Mr NZ titles.Nathan presents a very balanced and complete physique with no obvious weak points. He has lots of mass, outstanding conditioning and a grainy, mature look to his muscle which only comes from many years of hard lifting. soundsgood
Nathan absolutely killed it last year didn't he. He was 112kg when he won the NABBA Mr NZ title in 08 and 100kg when he won NZIFBB last year. Personally I think he looked way better in the tighter package. His Waist line must have come in 5"!!! Overall flawless really. He's only trained for about 6 weeks since winning last year too, to busy with his TV shows. He said he doesn't intend on competing this year but you can never write him off coming back and cleaning up again. He only dieted for 5 weeks before winning the nats last year so anythings possible

A fantastic physique.MARK ANDERSON2007 NABBA Mr NZLoads of size on a smaller frame = impressive Watched him on some sports show and he was interviewed by Mark Ellis and some others they were joking that he was as wide as he was tall :pfft: Came across as a nice guy and a good representative of our sport. He sure has put the hours in at the gym
musclenz
Mark certainly sets the benchmark for up & coming BBers in NZ to beat. He's a genuinely nice guy & is humble & unassuming when ever you are with him although he certainly attracts a lot of attention with his freaky short physique. Nato
Hey GuysThanks for the mention above! I would love to defend that title! Can't see it though As Soundsgood said I've only been back in the gym the last 6 weeks after completing the first season of "Big Angry Fish" Which went to air on TV 3 sunday just gone at 5.30pm yeeee haaaaaaaa VERY VERY COOL!!!!!!!!! Its pretty amazing how much I have gained back in only 6 weeks of training though and If I can defend that title? I will! Not many fish to be caught from july till the start of October :pfft: so you never know? will need to talk to the boss man.And Just so we clear................ I was 102kgs when I got the NABBA Mr NZ and 101kgs on the dot when I got the NZIFBB Mr NZ one. I was 112kgs at the waikato champs in 2008 when a ripped Alex Simays Turn up and beat me hands down  Goes to show that condition is key! weight means nothing!Nato
soundsgood
Sorry about that Nato, got your stage weights mixed up  You just upped the game though, look out Android, Khalid, Garth etc \:D/ You should consider doing the NABBA WFF nationals too. You don't have to qualify, just rock up. If you won you'd be the first person to win all 3 Feds overall titles
