Overheard in the gym.

Over the years I've heard and overheard some of the dumbest/idiotic things from the gym. Some so bad I don't know whether to cry or laugh. so here is few that I can recall, and please add your own. churz:

1. I used "do" creatine but had to stop cause I couldn't control my rage.

2. squatting to parallel is bad for you.

3.protein powder makes you fat

4. guy 1:Do think jay cutler is on steroids?

Guy 2: no hes on muscletech

5. If i take jack3d i can nearly double my bench

6.Fat makes you fat, dont eat any

7. i know a guy twice as big as you

8.I choose to stay this small

9. the pros spend 12hours a day in the gym

10.you can get a six pack your just need to do more sit ups.

if an IFBB pro does it it must be ok right?

doing what he does is fine provided you go up (target top of traps) then backward (target the lower part of the traps) in two movements.

as long as you know what your doing its fine.

cause as we all know the traps come down your back aswell, its not just the cool looking top bit by the neck.

Personal trainer to client after client watches me bench 180k and says "damn that guys strong"

PT "yeah but it's not very functional"

Client "ummm he looks like he could turn your car over, that's pretty functional"

f*ck that makes me rage have heard that so many times. the original excuse used by pts for not being big or strong

Me "did you used to be someone else?"

Heard it a million times same reply every single time lol I am consistent. Same when someone says they know someone who's heaps bigger than me.. I'm like "that's nice! Maybe ask him how to train?"
