Hey everyone!

Just wanted to know how high interval intensity training can help you lose fat faster then aerobic exercise? Can't you just do a nice steady pace of aerobic and go much longer and lose just as much?

Thanks

I think the idea behind it is.

Even though you may burn more calories performing the aerobic exercise at the time, Hiit effects your body and is meant to turn it into 'fat burning mode' which can last up to 48 hours.

+1 on this reasoning,

Also that Hiit gets you better conditioned for how your activity in the weights room goes. Well I'd hope your activity in the weights room would be more like Hiit than Steady State cardio anyway :pfft:
