Flaxseed oil is an EFA...it produces the structure of our cells and hormones, carbs or no carbs we still need cells and hormones. Flax with carbs is fine. Some protein powders can be cooked - some with the wrong artificial sweetner shouldn't be cooked.I like your cottage cheese addition to your recipe! yum, gonna try it on the weekend. I'd go with the simple, tried and true first. If you then have problems (unlikely) I'd see a nutritionist to sort of the specifics. That links seems like WAY too much to think about, especially if you're not in a HUGE hurry. I may look at not mixing carbs and protein if I get to early December and still have too much fat around my stomach as I know it will disappear from everywhere else but be stubborn around the bottom of the gut. laurasaur
I have to say I tried a strict split carbs/fat diet and I have never lost fat so fast in my life. It was from a mondays with thib on t-nation, I think its quite similar to swolegenix. U need to be able to stick to a crazy diet tho and plan about a week out to get results
Pete
My question regarding that, is this:Had you eaten the identical foods but split them up "normally", would you have lost the same amount of fat? A lot of people make the mistake of thinking a specific diet works really well, when all it's really done is control calorie intake and create a better balance than what they had before. biggurl27
I've already posted this, but I'm addicted...40g oats + 1tsp cocoa powder + 1tsp baking powder + 1 tsp coffee 10drops of stevia + 5g psyllium husk + 3 egg whites. All whisked up and pancaked. Then drizzled with Waihi Bush Flaxseed oil and finished off with chocolate sauce - Red 8 Just Whey plus chocolate protein and 1tsp of coffee mixed with a tiny amount of boiling water.During Bulking I'd mash a banana with low fat cottage cheese and smear this ontop instead of the protein sauce...frkn yummo. goddam it...first day after show I might just do both.Tried this for breakie today, very nice indeed
