mike27 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Share Posted February 10, 2011 cook cous cous in equal quanities to water. season the water with salt and pepper and some butter toast sunflower seeds,pumpkin seeds,peanuts and slivered almondsonce the cous cous is cool, fluff up with a fork and place into a bowl.add diced dryed apricots,sultannas,toasted nuts and seeds.add diced tomato,capsicum and chopped parsley and spring onion.add a pack of lentil,pea azuki found in the salad section in the super marketmix well, done! :nod: ive made a batch of this to take away for the weekend sailing. planning on eating it with some mince patties ive made and some marinated chick thighs Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

weener lad Posted February 10, 2011 Report Share Posted February 10, 2011 I'm a huge fan of cous cous I have used it instead of rice for the last 4 years.Another easy option is make up some cous then throw a can of Thai Chilli Tuna in it.
